i'm super forgiving in general. after a certain amount of time i just want to be done with the bad feelings and move past it. regardless of who it is really. even my super abusive exes i have forgiven them and would be friendly with them if that was an option. i prefer being that way to having a hardened heart and staying upset over something for the rest of my life. life is too short to hold onto negative emotions that way. it's like that saying holding hate in your heart is like drinking poison hoping the other person will die. ain't nobody got time for that shit!

I read this from the home page (before seeing your tag line with your placements) and thought to myself "I wonder if she's a cancer moon". Lol from one fixed sign to another, I think our cancer moons are to blame for this.

Why do people mistake forgiveness for stupidity?
There's a difference between forgiving someone while knowing that they are not good for you, therefore remove yourself from them.
And...
Forgiving and letting yourself be hoodwinked all over again.
The one shows maturity and self-respect, while the other shows stupidity.
I hold grudges, yes. But like rekt said, after a while the negative feelings become too much and have to be discarded. I'll forgive, even be nice to the person. But no, we're not going to be pals again.
