Are you bulls normally shy?

I guess this is more towards the men than the women. My taurus friend (girl) is very upfront and not shy about anything, however, my neighbor in my apartment complex (boy) is. To be a little more specific, I've always had a crush on this taurus boy: he has a great smile and is quite funny, but he never actually approaches me. The only reason he is able to do that is because I spoke to him first (and mind you, I'm rather shy myself). Whenever I see him, he never hesitates to say hi to me or stop to speak to me, or when I'm sitting in my living room and he sees me through the window, he'll wave. On our last day of actual classes, I was walking and he stopped to speak to me; we spoke for a while and I commented on how he never stopped by my apartment to talk to me and my mates. He said that he always wanted to, but he was shy, and that the only reason he spoke to me was because I actually made the effort to speak to him. I told him to come over more often and at least say hi to me, and he told me he always wanted to. Anyway, I'm just curious as to how you bulls approach people. My brother is a bull, and he's also rather shy, but firm in how he approaches people.

Oh gosh, that's what I was thinking. He's so shy, but it's kind of cute, too. I remember once my mates and I baked brownies and we tried to get him and his mate over to have some (they are both very shy) but they didn't because they had other things to attend to. And then later on in the year after we got to know each other a little more, I joked with him that I was offended that he didn't try our brownies since we offered. But he said he wanted to come over to have some of our baked goods and play games with us (since he always sees us playing games). And I told him if he couldn't at least talk to my roommates, he could come and speak to me since I was the only one he was kind of comfortable around. I've never actually experienced a boy this shy before, so I was wondering what was going on in his chart and such. I'm not normally the chaser, but I'm not one to sit still, either.

I'm not a taurus male. But the ones that I do KNOW are VERY shy with the opposite sex.
My bro is a taurus he was the same way. The males I know can still chat with girls but I've seen a difference when it came to girls they've found attractive. Mostly they would pounce on it when they were alone with the gal....
I'm very much the same way. I've always waited until the guy was alone before I'd say or do anything.

I disagree. I realized the other day that one of my best male friends from college is a taurus. We lost contact over the years. He was very outgoing, president of many student orgs, organized a protest, was well known on campus and was profoundly a womanizer. Funny as hell though, very generous with his money, time, his home and his penis...I did say he was a ho right?

I think it depends. Maybe "introverted" would be more of an apt description? It's easy to confuse the two.

If he's shy, you're definitely going to need to be the aggressor.

If he's introverted, it's more about getting him one-on-one. Like he's more apt to open up if he feels the conversation is private...in theory.

Reserved is definitely a good description Pandora.

Now that I think about it, reserved is definitely more of a better way to put it. He certainly has a personality and is actually a lot of fun to talk to. I'm definitely going to attempt to talk to him more since he lives right across the hall from me. I don't know what his rising is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was another earth sign lol.

I remember he kept telling me that he (and his whole apartment as a whole) was going to be more social since he was getting two new roommates (he's a runner, so his new roommates along with his original one will all be runners from the same team). My apartment is a really lively place, so I'm going to try to get him to come over more often. I mean... we back brownies. Who can turn down free brownies and video games? lol

My fiance is sun Taurus, mercury Taurus & mars Pisces. My venus is Pisces. We were both so shy around eachother.
His mars is the 'culprit'. Mars is your energy, how you go about getting what you want so he will do things in a very
round-a-bout way. He won't be direct like a fire or air sign. It's good that you made the first move. Be friendly and open and keep doing what you're doing but don't expect him to be very direct. Doesn't mean he isn't interested. They need time to feel comfortable enough around you to make a move. Your venus in Leo might expect fireworks right away, but he operates differently.

I don't know any Taurus man that is shy. All the ones I know are a bunch of arrogant attention wh0res.

Oh gosh, I have such a school girl crush on this guy. I jokingly tell my friends that I try to get him to come over to our apartment all the time by inviting him to play games, watching movies, try our food, ect. But, I seriously do that. I do notice that he does actually stop to speak to me or acknowledges my presence every time he sees me. Just today, I came out to do my laundry and he was by the balcony talking to someone. He saw me while he was wrapping up his conversation, and called me over; he told me all about his track practice and how tired and sore he was. So, we just stood talking for a bit, then I asked him if he had started his laundry earlier. So, we walked to the laundry room together and were making conversation there, and then we walked back to our respective apartments and stood outside talking further. Before he left to go out or something, he saw me in the window and waved at me; in fact, he still waves at me every time he sees me.

He really does open up more whenever he sees me, so I do feel I bring him out of his shell a little. The next step for me is to somehow weasel my way into getting his number, lol.

Also, I have such large urges to hug him, but I usually resort to giving him high-fives because I don't want to be too upfront, lol.

Tell him that in case of a fire, or emergency, you'd love to have his information (and you can give yours too) so that you can each contact one another...in case of an *um hmm* emergency 🙂 or anything else that "pops" up 😉
