So, I spoke about my Taurus friend who I have started to grow more intimate with since late March a while back. Anyway, he's a typical Taurus, and you know, hot and cold attitude drives me crazy sometimes, but I push through (since I obviously do it too).
Right before memorial day, I was with the taurus, and everything is all fine and dandy. After that, I didn't really hear from him consistently for about a week and a half. I would text him a few times to see if he was still around, but he barely responded, and I was getting discouraged. I knew that he was probably because with working because he was preparing to go to Bonnaroo (which I was super envious of), but I figured he could at least say something to me for a second (like a hi and whatnot). So, when I was finally feeling like I should give up, I decided to send him a text a couple of days ago to wish him a happy trip to Tennessee (where Bonnaroo always is) and to stay safe. He immediately texted me back, telling me where he was and that I shouldn't worry. He also asked me how I was and that he hadn't heard from me in a while. Of course, I wanted to punch him through my phone for saying that, but I just shrugged it off and openlly told him that outside of working, I had been fine but that I hadn't heard from him in a while either. He admitted he had been going crazy with work to pay for the concert (which I figured), but then he said something to me that I didn't expect at all. He said, "I promise when I get back we'll make plans." He almost texted with an urgency and he had never been that prompt before. I jokingly said I'll hold him to his promise because I was getting tired of being around children all day (I'm a nanny).
When I told him that I was envious that he was going to see some of my favorite bands perform live, he told me to send him his email, to tell him which bands I liked, and that he was goign to send me his schedule so I could tell him which bands to see (of my liking). I was really surprised by this as well. Yesterday, he texted me a picture of the concert stages and told me he sent me a video to my email of one of the bands that I loved and apologized that the quality wasn't exactly perfect. He also told me that his text messages would be pretty slow since there were so many people around and that he wasn't ignoring me. I told him that I never thought he was ignoring me, but that I appreciated the heads up.
In addition to a number of texts from, he also sent me a picture of his new haircut asking for opinions lol.
Anyway, while he has always been subtly attentive, he has never seemed this attentive before. I still can't get over how he promised to make plans with me, something he's never really said to me before.
I know taurus men can be on and off. I suppose this is something I should come to expect, but I'm just going to assume he missed me just as much as I missed him, or that I think that he was waiting for me to contact him (or something). I'm still processing all of this recent behavior, but I will say that it has put a smile on my face.
yah that's really all i got..that's sweet..I don't think when taurus men go off and on, they're like that...like I'd doubt he'd pull his plans at the last minute...he is an earth sign after all.
Oh Candeh. Congratulations. 🙂 I will do my best to not get so excited that I take off like the wind, but this young man is clearly showing all the earmarks of being bananas for you. —
Hmm, good question. For me there's several things rattling around in the vast space between my ears. First and foremost I like to know that interest in genuine for myself. Next I'll wonder if all the pieces of someone lock into my random and odd shaped ones. Like a jigsaw puzzle. I want to know someone inside and out. And if I'm interested that entails taking time to know their interests. Frequent conversation, etc. And yes, this takes time. I joke about my Aries though, but there's truth in it. That one wants a sucker punch right in the arm. Because I'll just go doodle bugging along and truly not GET that someone is interested in me until they scream it right in my face. So, there's that. And another nugget. Even though I like to take my time, there are also times when I want to strike with all the fire I possess. And that coupled with the Bull mind flip. Whoooo! That's it, right there. That's what ( who ) I want, I'm right, everyone else can take a flying leap. I'll barrel in with all I've got and keep plowing. Enough boring diatribe about my personal antics. Yes! Nice and slow. Get to know him, let him get to know you. I think that would best suit both of you. But woman, honestly. He's letting you into his work world. His personal zone. That's fantastic. 🙂
Thanks everyone. While I can't tell now where this will go, I'll just say that I'm enjoying it and I'd rather take this ride with him than anyone else right now.
That's really good to hear, dreamer! I'm sure, despite driving you a little crazy, he is a refreshing change from the aqua. It's so funny because this taurus was the first guy I had feelings for (or did anything with) after I dealt with my aqua guy.
Taurus men, they have a way of driving you crazy and making you melt all at the same time.
