I have visited the other astrology boards, and the interpretation of Bulls in regards to Romanticism is grossly underrrated and misinterpreted.

This song by Robert Scheffler (Always) illustrates the best depiction of my approach in romantic relationships.

Time abides no bottle
Dreams sustain no pain
Tears have all their reasons to blame

And there's no time like the present
No dreams surpass what's real
And I believe in the way you make me feel

And so before another minute fades
May I propose a trade

If you give me what you have
In your heart to give
I will love you all your days
Just give me everything, I'll give you always
Give me everything, I will give you always.

I have a more realistic concept of love.
Nothing ephemeral, superficial, or sugar-coated.
Although rarely expressed in a typical verbal conventional fashion,
Nonetheless, it's strongly felt.
And find it's way to longevity without all the soap-opera.
Why invest, or entertain the possibility of romance for a superficial relationship that may be fleeting.
When I can look into the eyes of the person I was meant to love for a lifetime.

Bulls, do you feel that you're often preceived as being unromantic?

I don't do the traditional clich? romance stuff. I think I've grown cynical in that regard. I havent' done any of that since my marriage ended. I was very much like that then. For my wife's birthday one year, I left a trail of Hershey's kisses up the stairs and into her bedroom. In there, her favorite love song was playing, with a note that said "I kiss the ground you walk on"; I arranged a bottle of her favorite champagne, with a bunch of roses and a box of her favorite Godiva truffles, around a diamond and tanzanite (her favorite gem) necklace I bought her, and some other gifts. I used to do all sorts of stuff like that for her. I just see it as a bit superficial now. I used to keep a separate account on the side just to feed her jewelry habit and always surprise her, but in the end, it wasn't really appreciated at all.

I express my romantic side now more in how I plan the time we spend together, how I set the mood (all aspects of sensual indulgence covered), and the full attention and affection I give during that time.

There's a lot of 'lip service' romance taking place. Sometimes I just wanna do something nice. I don't get all of that petals on the, candlelight lol how the hell is that romantic?

candle light is definitely romantic IMO. lighting, to me, is like the single most important aesthetic element in any setting. something about fire too...the soft glow, the movement of it....really looks good on naked bodies...

Moon light is the best on naked bodies, just taking some time to appreciate the other's body...

So the coldness and the toughness is not a defense mechanism it's simply what it is? In some cases it maybe a guard. Expressing your feelings for someone doesn't have to be a romantic display, it can be as simple as an occasional verbalization or gesture. Being cold and heartless to someone you like or love something that could cause you to lose special ppl. Just my opinion.

I have a taurus man that has taught me the ever painful lesson of patience (lol). Us Leo's are not very patient, so the struggle is real lol. It's been a year and a half and after what I thought was countless dates and being friend zoned, he's just beginning to admit he likes me. He is so detached and believes that he cares about and feels nothing but the second I let him know of my unhappiness he talks cold cash crap and the next day makes up for it. You guys are a tough battle sometimes I'm on the verge of a melt down but it's a good thing because you aren't "easy". I may not win but this is certainly a battle I will learn from and never forget. It's crazy because As much as I hate it, I love it.

If you're referring to my post, the behaviour I was talking about is more along the lines of "nonchalant", "heartless" is stretching it a bit.
