I think first impressions are just that 'first' impressions and that tells you very little if anything at all about a person. Not because people are any different than what they appear to be the first time you met them but because you discover more about them which you may like or may not like.
And we do have many sides to us and you're not always in the same place so many different people may perceive us very differently. For example people who don't know me well usually think that I'm verrrrry innocent 😛 Incapable of even coming close to a beer, so much so that when a friend makes comments of some crazy event, they've responded with, "TC? NO TC doesn't drink" but what strikes me is with how much CERTAINTY they say it! It almost makes me feel guilty but it's amusing at the same time...lol And of course some people got it totally backwards and somehow you end up turning into the opposite of what they first thought...? Well I'm right in the middle! lol Unless you take time to know a person you can't jump to conclusions.
One time I went to a seminar which was held about two and a half hours from where I live... anywho there was this woman who I hated the minute she walked in and she ended up sitting next to me... I was talking to the girl on my left and she jumps in 'oh really?' blah blah blah I hate ppl who do that... I had my back to her... I guess apparently she'd had her nose over my shoulder and was listening which I find really annoying. Anyway, point is she wasn't so hateful after all... And in the end I had to thank her because if it wasn't for her I would have made the two and a half hour drive back home a couple of days long instead... I have a tendency to not think ahead but that's another story 🙂 Of course she wasn't any different from what I first perceived but what changed was my dislike towards her. La la la end of story
