Is there a connection between Taurus and Leo?

I've always been curious about this. My brother, a really grounded, laid-back Taurus is married to a feisty, outspoken Leo, and they are quite good for each other. He can be very stubborn, but she puts him in his place and they couldn't love each other any less. Also, they feel for each other fairly quickly.

I have my venus in leo, but I've been attracted to/been with guys who've have their venus in Taurus.

Do these two signs balance each other out somewhat? Any other Bull natives involved with leos?

i am very comfortable around leos. could be that my parents were both leos, could be that i have a lot of fire in my chart, but i can dig 'em. i think the connection is that we're both fixed signs and "game respects game" so to speak.

taureans are supposedly stubborn and unchanging. we like consistency and predictability in others. folks who change don't bother us so much UNLESS their flitting about has a direct impact on us. in other words, you can change with the wind for all i care as long as it doesn't disrupt me in any way. the moment your flexibility/changeability begins to effect my course of action, we have potential problems.

fixed signs, regardless of what sign/element they represent, have a degree of predictability about them. even the oddest aquarian reacts/acts predictably. sure they change, but give them enough time and they all settle back into a predictable routine.

what makes leos so comfortable for me is that despite the fact that they're flashy, self-centered, demanding and occasionally hotheaded, i know where they stand...i instinctively know when they won't budge because they too have difficulty with change and where they may do it with far more ease than me, stubborn is in their character too. i think that's what makes them comforting to us. as much as we will never see eye to eye on all things, we recognize that they can be just as solid and immovable and we like this.

so overall, a tau-leo couple will be fine as long as they find themselves standing on the same foundation more often than not. trouble only arises when they're on two different pillars and if that's the case, leo isn't going to come to a bull...that would be beneath him so more than likely, he will stay put. and taurus, although willing to meet the lion somewhere near the middle, we're only willing to go near the middle because too far away and it threatens our security.

if both are mature, it's bliss. if not...hell at heaven's door.

Yes Candeh15, I think there is a bit of balancing that takes shape. The Taurus doesn't mind being in the background to let the adoration be thrown onto the Leo, and both have an affinity for nice things, and can enjoy making the other happy; however, their "relationship & love" style s (which will have to do with other placements) can be very different. They both can be stubborn, and neither may want to back down. Also, (in my limited experience), a Taurus needs to know and feel certain things to truly be comfortable in a relationship, and while the Leo may feel those things, sometimes it's not expressed to the Tauruses satisfaction. BUT, I will say that the Leo I was involved with, and my close girlfriend who is a Leo; if you ask them a question, they will not shirk it or lie - 99% of the time, they will tell you the truth; good, bad or ugly. That is appreciated by a Taurus, even if the responses aren't always in their favor. They know they can trust what that Leo says, and that goes a long way with both of these signs, as they both want trust in relationships more than anything. Both signs want you to "have their back." That's why when you see this combo and they work, they tend to have a deep connection with one another that is oftentimes difficult to understand or even explain, because they can (on the surface) appear to be so different.

@Cali! Ha, we were both posting at the same time 🙂

lol...i had left right after i posted.

and i agree with what you said too. it's one of those combinations that doesn't seem like it would work and in a way, it doesn't...there's generally an impasse that will keep this couple from seeing eye-to-eye but if they can overcome it or agree to disagree, they'll get along great and have a very deep, soulful connection.

i have a few leo fem friends who i get along surprisingly well with too. looking at us, it doesn't make sense. our style s are so dissimilar and yet, once you get past the physical facade, we're seeing eye-to-eye on most issues and those that we don't, there's always a mutual respect. again, not sure why it works out this way but leos are ok in my book...assholes, but ok peeps.

and was also confused and lost not knowing what his real feelings for her.
leos can't stand it but eventually their love for each other grew because not one of them wanted to give up on each other
(actually the taurus guy is more sentimental than her, he cried most of the time and she talks too much 🙂 )

time was their only best friend. it's more of building a bridge of chance to the one you love.

LoL I actually only lie to myself. But this sounds like a happy ending...?

So if I ever get to the bumpy road of relationship building with a leo I'll know
we don't give up on each other 😛
