From a very young age, I always knew what I wanted in life. A nice car, house of my own, financial stability, marriage, children etc... Therefore, my efforts were always steered towards getting the job that would pay me enough to get the car, house and financial stability I desired. In which, my motivation would kick in when I'm working towards those things that I want the most and in order to maintain these things I'll work very hard for a better salary at my job to get a promotion or obtain a degree to get that very well paid job. I won't stop until I get to the point in my life where I am comfortable, both materialistically and financially. In my life I am always striving for something. I have to be living well, eating well, living comfortably within my means and always financially able to do lots of travelling and the things that I enjoy the most.

Personally, I would have had to pretty much accomplish all my goals in order to move onto the next step of marriage and children. I want to be able to raise my kids in the comfortable way that I was raised, going to a good school, having their own rooms in their own home and having both parents present instead of them working 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet.

I prefer to pay off my debt and to have all priorities in place before I decide to bring children into a stressful environment, where my kids would be crammed in a one bedroom apartment with me working 2 jobs in a marriage built on debt (wedding, student loans, credit card debt etc). By planning my future wisely I am trying to avoid my children from going hungry because I have to pay all my bills before I decide whether I have enough money to go grocery shopping, being absent in my child's life because I have 3 jobs or missing out on seeing my child's face the first time they go to Disney world because I don't have enough money every month to save for vacation.

That's why I am a firm believer in planning, and although life does not always work out the way we plan, I continue to strive to make sure that I am not reckless enough to put myself in a situation where my life can't accommodate my own needs much less a child's

So yeah Thetis... alot of thought goes into my life and what I strive for...

However, some people don't plan to have kids and don't have the best to offer when they do have any unplanned kids, but they go on to achieve a lot more just to ensure that their child's and their lives are secure. I just prefer to secure my life 1st.

Lady Taurus--
U summed it all up in a nut shell. I definitley couldn't have said it better myself. I think being a taurus girl myself. I realized that I pretty much wanted to have a job that afforded me to be able to live the way I wanted (comfortably) and be able to afford to give my children anything they want or needed(with in reason of course)and to have a strong man that loves living in comfort and is willing to work hard to achieve that along with me. Most importantly--to have a warm, romantic, honest, dependable partner to share the good life with.
