"The words mean "I am a truthful man from the land of the palm trees.
And before dying, I want to share these poems of my soul.
My poems are soft green. My poems are also flaming crimson.
My poems are like a wounded fawn seeking refuge in the forest.

The last verse says: 'Con los pobres de la tierra'. With the poor people of this earth I want to share my fate. The streams of the mountains please me more than the sea."

I know quite a bit about music of all genres, especially rock in all of it's variety, but I've never heard of any of those artists you've posted (save for Robin Guthrie because of Cocteau Twins, but I've never listened to his solo stuff).

Looks like I'm not all that familiar with ambient/solely instrumental/trip-hop kinda stuff. Have to admit I'm liking it.

Yeah, I wasn't aware of Guthrie's extensive background in music, had never heard of him until I heard him on this radio show playing solo. Blew me away...didn't even sound like a guitar he was playing. Glad you like the other stuff. I'll keep posting then. I'm mainly into electronic sample-based stuff. A Libra friend of mine put me on to the mood altering properties of downtempo music a while back and I've been hooked since. Do you have a Soundcloud account? I do a little music production on the side, so I'm always on Soundcloud getting exposure to new producers. The playlist capabilities, streaming, etc. on Soundcloud is way better IMO and you will find stuff on there that won't make its way to youtube for years, if ever.

I don't have a Soundcloud account myself, but a lot of last.fm friends have linked me their profiles on there, so I'm familiar with it. It's a great site, and I know that YouTube is not one of the best places for finding new music at all.

Have you ever heard of last.fm? It's an awesome site for music lovers that scrobbles whatever you listen to on your comuter/phone/whatever on to your account. According to the music you listen to, last.fm recommends you new artists to check out, connects you with people that share a similar taste as you, etc. And you can even upload your own music, so it's also great for promotion. Evey artist you can think of, you'll find there. You should check it out if you haven't already, here's my profile to give you a general idea - http://www.last.fm/user/BlackRoseKilla

Haha, well darn.

Was just feeling all fired up listening to some old-school punk, and than this puts me in a completely different mood.

Lovely. Can't think of anything similar to throw in off the top of my head, so I'll let the amazing lyricist Patti Smith be my contribution for the night -

This Taurie had a voice of an angel. And he seemed to have loved life so much, with all of it's little pleasures. I've never seen anyone be so in tune with nature as he was.

@M143 Always glad to share good tunes. I can't seem to see that vid you've posted though!

@heartlocket Seriously loving that Lo-Fi-Fnk song.

@ShyCapLady Hail Judas Priest! I have to say though, Slipknot/Korn/Limp Bizkit and stuff like that, they're simply a genre of their own. nu metal. A combination of alt.rock/rap/punk. The quality of the genre itself is debatable, but just because they might be bad metal, doesn't mean they're not metal.
