No. There was two guys who I should have never gone out with because we were great friends. Once we dated and things went downhill I thought I could be their friend because I didn't feel like they were my ex at all... just so happens they resented me and I think one hated me so that didn't work out! lol

I already warned my bf that if we were to break up we won't be friends and I wouldn't want to hear from him. I could never be friends with an ex who I really had feelings for... the jealousy factor nope nope nope

But, but, what happens? You pretend you don't care for each other? It doesn't make sense. I guess depends how you break up, but often it's just not the right connection and if 2 people care and are smart, they'll leave the romance alone and appreciate each other for what originally drew them together.

Now I guess that wouldn't work if sex appeal / sex what their strong point, but I don't get together with someone based on that...maybe that's why I can stay friends.

IF the breakup was nice but I SUCK at breakups. I've done the ol' 'never to be seen again' thing with no explanations. Also, state that it's over, refuse to hear anything more and make myself completely unavailable... foreverrrrrrrr or if I'm driven to it I can be quite detailed at explaining why it is that he sucks (and not in a nice way) ah ha ha ha ha no it's not funny, it's sad, I hate breakups... 😢 That's why I don't deal too well... cuz I want to be left alone! So I act like I don't care but it's hard boo hoo boo hoo

Well, I'm like tauruschic on this one but I believe that a breaking up is a good thing when the relationship isn't working. It makes no sense to stay and works thinks out when there's far too much emotional bagage. Or sometimes you need time apart when you are going into different directions in your life. That's why I belive that nothing should be serious until after the ages of 25-27. You haven't grown up and realized what you want by then ... somethings wrong ... you have to be an adult sometime or another.

Taurus, that's how I break-up, I do the whole "never to be seen again" or I make myself completely unavailable or I begin to back-off from the guy ***wink***wink***wink***
