Could someone please advise as i am totally confused by my Taurus friend. We were good friends in sixth form, easy to talk to and good banter in the small group we hung out in. He had just gone through a bad break up with his girlfriend and was heartbroken (only found the last bit out recently). Anyway we left school and went into our chosen paths after a couple of months he got in touch again, we had coffees and chats and it was cool.Then he asked me to go to the theatre we did I thought things went okay, I was a little anxious but not overly. However, when it came to going home he practically ran off the train at his stop, so clearly not! I never heard from him for 8 mths and just a few brief texts. He must have told a mutual friend when drunk one night as she set us up on a blind date in a foursome with her and a friend. She did not let on to either of us and we both only found out the night before we were both going. He looked really ill at ease when we met and would not talk to me for at least an hour until He had a drink. NOW I have not heard from him in 27 yep 27 mths and out of the blue he gets in touch. He has since joined the RAF his chosen area. We met up a few times coffees and chats and it was like back in 6th form good chat and banter. He asked me to go to London and we did and had a good time we both dressed up and he insisted on paying for everything. There was no physical contact other than our hugs. I stayed over at his family home in separate rooms my choice. On the date after a few drinks he told me about his first love and how heartbroken he was for 2 yrs (now 5 yrs ago). He also asked if I had my eye on anyone at Uni (doing a masters) and that I needed to get out there this was all said in banter. Told me that in the last year he had tried tinder but that was a disaster. I am now totally confused why does he keeping coming back to me? Is it possible that He might like me more than a friend I do not Dare drop any clues (as I do not want to get hurt again as I blamed myself for the first awful date for a long time) or is this just friends? He messages me also then it can go a week then he gets back in touch again it is like having a boyfriend with all this messaging one minute then disappearing the next. It is like he drags himself back into his man cave to reflect ! I like him but I am cautious. I heard his mum ask him if he enjoyed himself and he said yes he did and hopefully I did to. I also messaged him later thanking him and saying I had a great time. He came back 2 days later apologising for delay saying he also had a great time. I have no idea what is going on.
