Taurusguy tells me that I am "special and we will keep in touch?"

Is this guyspeak for "he is just not into me" ??

Forgive me if I am being too harsh on the Bull here, but I am interpreting this as "I'll give you a call if I feel in the mood for a quick root sometime."

If I think someone is special they jolly well know it, not sure if Aries special is the same as Taurus special.

I really do hope I am wrong - that it was a Mercury retrograde misunderstanding or something...

Mmm, going on limited information here but if my gob opens and "You're special to me, I'll keep in touch" falls out of it, it means "You're special to me, I'll keep in touch." NOW there are varying degrees of this hilarity. One is "You are my friend, I do not want to lose contact with you." the other is "Sweet Jebus I'm feeling you, but I'm unsure of where your head is at, so I'll step back and not offer more than you are willing to take on board."
They both essentially boil down to "I care about you", one is purely platonic, the other romantic. Obviously.
If you feel personally that all he'd like is to make the beast with two backs, call him out on it. Define it. Then you can proceed with a hearty "Piss off with that" or a "hmmmm" or a progression from that point.
Like you I am not interested in a slight feeling of shame and a set of sheets to wash..but that coupled with a huge grin on my face and the man still in that bed. For a very damned long time. LOL Years in fact.

That one is kinda a toss up... With me "You're special" I rarely use because saying that to someone hold's a lot of weight with me, And I don't want to cheapen that word by throwing it around like candy from a parade float.. haha.. But on the flip side, "we will keep in touch" sounds kinda formal, or casual... 'I'll be in touch' would be probably how I'd say it if it was personal...

Was this said in person— I ask because the amount of eye contact is a dead give-away with us Taurus..

No shame in being a relentlessly pursued hottie, is there VB??😉

Just thought it was a bit weird...I don't TELL people "I will stay in touch", I just send letters and cards and emails and stuff, which is the act of keeping in touch, but I never warn them verbally beforehand. Perhaps I should!

Special is a word I don't throw about lightly either, but I figger I am so different to everybody else, I mustn't interpret things as I would've meant them....hence the need for the panel of expert judges.

He is far enough away that we needn't worry about bullprints all over my sheets just yet.

I just don't see the point in "keeping in touch" with someone who isn't a lover (or lover in waiting), a great friend or a rich elderly maiden aunt who has suddenly taken ill.

Maybe he is just in it for the witty banter?

Alas, 'twas emailed...possibly the most easily misconstrued method of communication currently known to man.
