Do you believe that there's "THE ONE" for everyone?
Yes or No.... why and why not?

Yes absolutely. I've always wondered if some of my other placements (like Leeb in Venus or Cancer in Mars) make me idealize love. I'm not your typical Virgo in that I love, well, love. And I am a true romantic at heart. And although I try to be "practical" about relationships...the heart wants what the heart wants.

I believe that there is "the ONE for everyone." I know it might sound naive to some people. But I do believe that it's definitely possible to meet one person that you connect with on the deepest of levels. Whether or not you end up with them "forever" purely depends on circumstance. But they exist for sure.

I hear you there, count me in for being "romantic at heart" and I also idealize love ever since I was a kid but few jerks made me realize that butterflies do die so made me look at relationship in a bit foggy view but I am still hopeful and optimistic that there is "the one" for everyone...

Can someone explain the following sentences to me:

"I need someone to bond with emotionally, on a deep level." What does bonding emotionally on a deep level mean?

"Really a hug is 99% enough, but I need affection." What does affection in this sentence mean?

Lord, what does emotional mean?

Deep level of connection - a soulful feeling of affection
Emotional bond - a connection that ties two people together passionately
Affection - in that sentence I see it as HUG+AFFECTION = embrace --> enclosing someone with the warmth of your love
Emotional - if am your gf/bf then I broke up with u then you'll know what emotional is... Kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still believe in my true love (my soul mate). I don't know if I have found her yet, but all I know I am still looking for her. I will still await patiently for her arrival if I do not find her first...

I feel there is more than just the one out there and that more likely there's a handful of people out there that each person could spend their lives with.
Someone told me she thinks we all get 3 great loves of our lives over time. I think I agree.

I really believed that a Virgo was the one. I'm still having problems proving myself otherwise, though I do try. There's just something about him that made me feel "this is important". It was important, but if it was important in a way that he was "the one", then now that we're not together, what should I do for the rest of my life? Not focus on relationships I suppose!

Yes, and I'm proven my one and only exists. Because he's the only one I ever fell in love with and still love no matter what. And even if the relationship will ever end I believe he's always going to be the one for me and I can't ever possibly love someone else the same nevermind more. But if the case, I mean end of relationship, although I might or might not see him ever again he'll still be the one in my heart regarless of how it'll end etc... nobody can replace his place there. I couldn't ever love like I love him before I met him hence I know I can never love again this way, so he's my one.
But I'm very rational and cool in love and out of love. I'm very stable and just because I'm crazy about him I'd never tie him down or behave irrational ever. If he'd ever want out I'd let him go easy. I would never go crazy no matter what he'd do, love me and be with foreever or leave me etc...

CoolCappy, hopefully you will never lose this love with him and his your forever! I get, the one who will always hold that spot. But if it does end and you move one. You can love again. You will just love that person differently. Even through my 14 years marriage, my love for him had made many changes and majority in the good way. I don't think we ever love the same way with different people.

I do believe in "the one". I think it happens when we least expect it, and not looking. I also believe we have life experience (some sooner than later) to get through before finding the "one". Meaning when he/she comes along, the little bumps and bruises are easier to get through together having had them prior to getting together. (if that makes sense)

i am a hopeless romantic too and seriously HOPE there is 'THE ONE' for everyone. maybe we are tagged as "The Eternal Bachelor/rette" because we take matters of the heart to the mind? we are very mind(ful) of the heart haha. i mean seriously, where people in love go with their impulses, i think we get occupied with the small small details about making the SO happy. i think we naturally remember minute (read trivial for other signs) details about the one we love. we want our actions to be thoughtful and personal. problem is, not everybody has the patience or the eyesight to get our actions done out of love, and tag us as cold for lack of verbal display of affection. i seriously doubt if anyone will be able to get the depth of our actions hmm.. and what is depth? it is all the boring, mundane things you do for someone, which again, they may not get because there ain't no glamor in mundane things. god! only a tough mind will be able to crack the code of a virgo heart.
