Can a Virguy and Gemini Girl Rel. ever Work?

Just curious about experiences because I read so many times that it doesn't because they are total opposites. However, I met this Virgo guy with Sagittarius moon and we seem to get along pretty well. I'm a gemini with a Virgo moon. Our age gap is 9 years. When he talks, I listen. When he feels sad, he tells me and I give him comfort. When I'm upset, he cheers me up. I find his sarcasm funny and he finds my positivity meaningful. We have the same ideals about family, career and relationships. We are both hardworkers as well. We talk everyday but we don't seem to run out of things to talk about. We love the same kind of music. It's like we match in almost all the basic things we need to match on. Please let me know your experiences with Virguys specially if you are a Gemini. 🙂

In my case I've come to the conclusion that I'll always love my Virgo man, but as far as a relationship goes--ours won't work. We're too different. We're friends; that's it--on my instigation. He would like us to be something more but I'm not for that anymore.

25thdecan: yes, I sure will. He's a very shy person. Not as expressive as other signs are but he makes me feel NEEDED. Like I always got a place in his life. He's the type who worries so much about life and that's where my gemini traits come in. I tell him good things about life and my positivity helps lighten things up for him. He doesn't make me feel jealous of other girls because he's not the type who would talk to anybody and everybody. In fact, I am very surprised he even started talking to me couple of months back as he is known for being a loner and a quiet person. But with me, now, he seems comfortable to be goofy, crack jokes, say things that he feels like saying even if that means me knowing his weaknesses. It's like we're meant to be.

@GemStar05: what was the trait that you didn't like about your Virguy? What drove you to deciding that it's not for you? I wanna know what to expect. 🙂

I'm a communicator and he's not. There were too many instances of miscommunication because he wouldn't get clarification. Me? If something is not understood then I will ask. Also, I'm not an emotional person but if I like someone I say it and my actions show it. He was all talk no action (which to me means no interest right? So I back off). Me: Ok then leave me alone. Him: No that's not what I want. Me: Ok then let's do this. Him: Nothing. OMG the back and forth thing. I gave him his space; then I'm ignoring him. I wanted to spend time with him; then came the excuses why we couldn't. Dude! Make up your mind! Whew! LOL! I don't like drama or complicated relationships and he concurred but seems to be to be the epitome of drama. Soooooo...I'm satisfied with being friends with him--w/o benefits. But lately that seems to be a challenge for him...OMG again! Maybe him being a Leo/Virgo cusper has something to do with his craziness. But then I'm a Taurus/Gemini cusper so maybe I'm crazy for dealing with him!

Please disregard what you read on here that Virgo's disappear or don't respond to texts, phone calls, etc. My Virgo thinks it's absolutely rude to do that. He always responds to me and apologizes if he doesn't for some reason--he never does it on purpose.

@GeminiStar05: interesting because my Virgo ( who is a Virgo-Libra cusp ) with Sag moon seems to be the same. He doesn't know how to show his emotions. Most people misinterpret his actions. It took me 3 months to crack the code and get him to talk about himself. Now, he's a bit open as he now talks about his family, his life, dreams and goals. He does have the tendency to show emotions then suddenly become aloof. A bit scary. Being a Gemini, I know we're the "inconsistent" one as they say but this guy beats my inconsistency. Haha! And the first and last time we had an argument, he just walked out on me. Never talked for 24 hours. Sent him a message to say "I'm sorry for what happened. Please feel free to message me when you're ok." And after few hours, there he is. Talking to me and telling me how bad he felt. Such a very interesting guy.

@25thDecan: are you also moody or a negative thinker? A loner? I'm curious about the difference in Virgo cusps...

Haha! That's funny. My Virgo loves playing with my name too. Everybody calls me the same way and he won't. He loves to change how my name is spelled and would often times give me a really long, weird spelling name out of my real name. 🙂 he did share with me that he has this worrying habit. He worries about everything going on in his life. How normal is that for Virgos? Also, what takes away your worries? And how genuine are your "thank you for being there for me when I need you most" lines? And when you crack flirty jokes, is it your way of expressing how you feel without actually saying it directly?

That's pretty interesting because I read from other sites that Virgos aren't big on flirting unlike Geminis and Sags simply because Virgos are shy and conservative. Seeing results calm you down.. I guess that is the same for him. He would often tell me what's going on and ask me how I appear to be so happy, calm and collected all the time when he has sleepless nights worrying about things. When I tell him things will be alright, he just has to continue working hard, he seems to listen and try to relax a bit.

How long does it take before you realize you are inlove with someone? And for your potential partner, what do you look for?
