Could be just the way that I percieve things but I've noticed whenever Virgo expresses true raw emotion (guess the term) or off-guard that his eyes appear really naive, almost child-like. Any other time theyre really focused and serious. I've also noticed this about two others that I am close with. Anyone else?

my perception is the exact opposite. when i've been the target of two male virgo's anger (both unfounded imho), their eyes not only got darker, but you could see the emotion in them. honestly, both kind of freaked me out because i didn't think i'd ever see that side of them. my best description would be akin to when someone you know, trust and respect turns on you on a dime and starts verbally attacking you for no logical reason. and virgos are suppose to be about logic and analytical thinking. in my case, neither took the time to thoroughly analyze but just shot from the hip. and their words were hurtful. there was an intensity in their eyes that i had never seen prior; their glare was penetrating to the core.

after those two experiences, I never looked at these two virgo men the same way. their actions and demeanor was so "unlike" them, it was surreal.

O my I know right?!?!! It's almost like their self is erased, and you see someone completely different. I am not sure of what you think, but I have wondered is this due to Virgo always analyzing and not letting their true selves show, and when something like this happens they just can not control themselves so their guard is down? Also I do not care what anyone says Virgos, not all but many, have this weird guard about them. And then it goes poof...but for a limited time only. Hard to put your finger on this.

Lemme clarify that we operate in two modes. Were mostly always in analyzing mode especially when going thru new things in life, and when we criticize its because were sorting through our emotions and filing everything away to move thru it swiftly if the same scenario were to present itself again in the future.

Our second mode would be our relaxed mode. That side emerges rarely to outsiders and only when were in trusted company, relaxing/not trying or giving a crap, and just at home aka guard down.

Today I showed my boss my chill side because we've grown close and it just came naturally. I called her DUDE for Christ's sake *slaps forehead*!!! Everyone who overheard our convo was cracking up lol it wasn't expected cus I'm always hard at work and serious for the most part. How embarrassing lol, but I couldn't help it, it just came out 😛.

You hit it right on the head! LOL

People that have known me forever never believe me when I say I'm usually shy, and people who don't really know me that well can't believe the things those who've known me longer tell them about me, LOL.

My eyes are cold though, I have to say. Scorp rising has something to do with it, I'm sure 😛

But if I care about you, my gaze warms.

I had 2 friends meet up with me and my Taurus, and they were in AWE of how mushy I was with him! That's my boo though, and I crave being near him/vice-versa. They're always seeing the scratch-your-eyes-out (maybe joking maybe not) side of me, lol--they were just floored at the cuddly side of me with him (although I'm cuddly with them too, just not in a "we share each other's bodies" type of way 😄 )

"The most common form of an ellipsis is a row of three periods or full stops (...)"

"The triple-dot punctuation mark is also called a suspension point, points of ellipsis, periods of ellipsis, or colloquially, dot-dot-dot."

As per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellipsis<BR>
"..." ellipsis
" .. ", " ...... " nonsense

That's why it's nicknamed, "dot-dot-dot" and not "dot-dot".

I'm just saying, if you're coming into the Virgo section to correct someone, make sure YOU come correct.

Psssh, I introduced and popularised the (...) on DXP, word 🙂

😛 Proof, sir!

PROOF!

lmfao

And while you're at it, drill it into her dang head, because I'm just not seeing how you can correct someone else while being wrong yourself.

Utterly ridiculous--people can't even come here to just let loose. No, we have to turn in term papers for her approval.

I thought reviving this thread is a good action. It really is true that at times I find a really dark persona stirring inside me. I can be a really wonderful person and then a really dark sadistic person capable of really dark thoughts.

So much reallys

Good call on reviving this thread. For me this is so true. I always feel like I have two persons inside me. One is easy and the other is a bitch.

i actually agree with the op... i've mentioned this before about my idolization of the idea of childhood... and all the things that go along with it.. purity, innocence, naivety, simplicity... nostalgic happiness..when i was truly happy. i have that idealization at my core.. it's something i always strive for.. and thus moments of raw, emotive expressions will almost always have that angle.

at the same time... this actually goes against what is raw and natural.. it almost seems manufactured, that i have this idealization that acts as a filter against my emotions. it's controlled even in uncontrolled states. i suppose that's the difference between a virgo and say.. an emotional water sign. i definitely feel trapped within myself at times.
