How would you want to be told??

I??ve come to realize that despite his at times good intentions, my virgo is not able to satisfy my emotional needs at this time. This is not a virgo issue, he is emotionally unavailable from all the drama associated with his divorce and his emotional baggage is just too heavy for me to carry. Many of you are already familiar with my situation, so leaving him alone isn't necessarily the issue, I have not contacted him.

Him coming back is??_its extremely hard for me to stay away from him and for me to emotionally let go if he continues to pop back up spewing sweet words and messages.

While I still believe he is an amazing man, I know he needs significant time to resolve his emotional issues before I could seriously consider him as a potential partner. That being said, what's the best way to tell him I need him to stop contacting me. I want him to understand that although I still care for him, we have gone as far as we can go at this time.

He will be hurt regardless I know, but I want to minimize that as much as possible while still letting him know that there is potential in the future when/if he can get it together. Also should I do this after the holidays or ASAP.
