I just recently found out that I have this; I always knew that virgos were emotional as is but tended to keep a tab on their emotions. But with a scorpio moon, it kind of makes things go haywire in the emotion department. Either way, I just find this placement really interesting since it almost seems to contrast when having a virgo sun.

Anyone else have their moon in scorpio?

I have it also. There are some days where I feel like more of a Scorp than Virgo. I just realized I do the infamous Scorp stare with people. My emotions def get crazy at times. I just read that when you have water sign moons that you can see the water in your eyes. I also read that the moon signs exhibit more traits of Scorp than the sun signs. I read that a couple days ago and found it very interesting.

I believe for any sign other than Virgo/Scorpio, this is intimidating. (Virgo Sun/Scorp Moon) I say intimidating because you have two signs who are both truly intense. While the sun is analyzing, the moon already KNOWS with gut instinct. I call it a gift to the Virgo to have a Scorpio moon, because they don't analyze for as long about things/people. The sun gets curious, the scorp moon kicks in with the gut, which allows the Virgo to weed out much quicker than a Virgo with other earth/air/fire placements in their chart. They will get to the heart of the matter much quicker than beating around the bush with the little tests. Virgos don't like to waste a lot of time, they are busy creatures. So if they can check their list a lot quicker (which they will w/moon in Scorp), and move along at a better pace. ALSO...the Virgo is more controlled with emotions initially and able to keep it under wraps much easier w/Scorp moon, but when they end up with someone they have fallen for and it results in an LTR..those emotions show ever so sweetly, especially in intimate moments...yes, cuddling, caressing and holding you. They open up completely when it's safe to do so.

On the negative side, don't piss these guys/girls off! The wicked sarcasm, cold shoulder, frost biting your face like you never felt before will be forthcoming. Yeah...the bad emotion of Scorp moon shows up big time along with the cut off at the knees virgo slap. Sincere apology, actions to back it up will bring them back around. One thing is for sure, THINK before you act or speak with these placements. Never destroy their trust in you, because once it happens, you'll NEVER get them back to where they were with you. 😉

Lol, I can relate to this all so much. I have some pretty strong instincts when I feel things aren't right, but my virgo sun analyzes the hell out of that instinct until it exhausts me. But I usually turn out to be right, regardless. So it's like, my scorp moon feels it, then my virgo sun weeds out the details until I'm content enough to make a decision. Another thing I noticed is that when I'm angry, I'm typically like the virgo where I just explode after being pushed too far (after a long time, of course); however, I'll have moments during my anger where I really want to do something to the other person, vengeance wise. I think of all the things I could do to show

that I am not to be messed with. Still, I feel bad for wanting to get revenge on another person after I cool down. I know scorps are more inclined to "sting back when they are betrayed. Additionally, scorp and virgo anger are very similiar; well, scorps and virgos in general are very similar. But it's intense to have these two signs combined in one. And I think it takes certain people to be able to handle this combination at times.

Ah, another one in the Virgo/Scorpio group.

I believe that Virgo and Scorpio are two halves of a whole, so the combination fits well, even if we just explode when we finally reach a breaking point.
For me, there are many ups and downs. The ups are good, and the downs are terrible. But it makes life interesting and keeps the virgo side of me improve everything to make sure I keep myself on the ups.

One question, have you ever thought about being a counselor? I am seeing if that is something Virgo/Scorps are known for.

(P.s I have a scorpio ascendant as well.

Funny enough, I am a psychology major at my university. I dont' think I plan on being a counselor, but I'm definitely taking my psych degree many places, hopefully. For now, I want to go into criminal psychology.

^ Ditto. I didn't even take psych in high school. I was planning on going into Biology, which I did at first. Most of my friends and teachers who I was closer with in high school told me I should consider going into psychology, but I just brushed it off. However, I kept it in the back of my mind and changed my major after the first semester of my freshman year. I never looked back.

There is no money in that field, FYI. It can be very unpredictable at times. Other times, sad and discouraging.

With regards to the OP, no problems here. Emotions in check. And the thought of anyone being intimidated by me, is laughable. lol If anything, many get the initial impression or hint that I may be some sort of pushover judging by my mild mannerisms. I find it all amusing.

TBH, I really think it depends on where you take the degree. I'm in the DC metro area, so I have plans on working with the government (after gaining an internship soon hopefully)to hopefully become something along the lines of a behavioral analyst. If that doesn't work, I want to go into biopsychology. I can also go into the military as well. I'm double minoring so I have options, at least. I'm sorry if I seem defensive; I just get a little worked up when people tell me that. I'm aware tht psych is an unpredictable career, but I can't see myself doing anything else. I didn't know where I was going when I was a Biology major and after a while, I realized I didn't want to go to medschool (unless I do go into biopsychology). I'm just going to roll with the punches here and see where it all takes me. It's almost like, don't tell me this is going to fail, because even if it does, I'd rather figure this out on my own before I change my plans completely.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't say there's no money in that field. That varies depending upon the state in which you live.

I just saw this actually. I hope it didn't seem I was snapping at you in my previous post. If I did, I'm sorry as well. I've just heard that so many times before that it hits a sensitive spot, one that causes me both to get angry and anxious.
