Virgo :: Capricorn - The Meaning Of Success

DISCLAIMER: This thread is not intended to start a bashing session. It is an attempt to explore the differences between these two similar Signs on the Meaning Of Success.

My limited experiences with Capricorns in The Real World has been mainly negative, and due in large part to the competiveness I have felt when working with someone from this Sign...

With the Virgos I know, success is doing the best job you can no matter what task you're given...

With the Caps I've known, success is looking better than your peers, no matter what the quality of your work really amounts to...

What say you DXPers?

Again, I'm not trying to slam Capricorns. I do think there's a very fundamental difference between us on the Meaning Of Success -- BUT, I have limited experience with CAPs, AND, I'm a Third Decan Virgo, which is supposed to mean I'm less goal-oriented than others in my Sign...

I've written before about the CAP Female pilot I was deployed with way back when. She made me miserable for almost 3 friggin' months -- we butted heads daily! Ideas from any of us men were not as good as hers, but my ideas received extra-special bullshit treatment from her. When I finally proved her wrong, she wrote back to our Commander that I was being "difficult" and "undermining" her authority. He later told me in person to let it slide, and that the FUMU Principle (Fuck Up & Move Up) was already working for her -- she got promoted to a staff job, where she could do less damage than at the operational level.

Yeah, this could be sour grapes, EXCEPT: The one other CAP female I've worked with in IT was a pain in the ass, too. Thank God! She wasn't one of my subordinates, but my shop had to collaborate with hers, and that's where I really saw the "what makes me look good is what I'm gonna do" trait in this Sign...

DY, because of the field you are in, thats probably why you have encountered the 'dark side' of cappy women. I'll tell you what, we can be meaner the any rattle-snake if we feel the need to prove ourselves. There's more men in most milltary fields then women and cappy women more then any other sign want to be taken seriously in there professions.

When capricorn women feel that they are faces any type of barriers, we get into this mode that we must win whatever fight is among us. We are kind of like a bunch of Scarlett O'Haras when it comes to our professional lives -- remember in that famous scene she said: "As God as my witness their not going to get me, I'm going to live through this and when its all over ... I'll never be hungery again ... if I have to lie, steal, cheat, or kill; I'll never be hungery again!" Its alittle dramatic but thats how most of us see our professional lives -- at the end of the day, we may not have the head office, but who we are will be well known before the day is over. I have notices this because I've been around cappy women all my life and I'm one of them too 🙂

I'm not sure about the 1st cappy pilot you mensioned probably had a few OTHER elements in her chart, we are usually not that bad, and the quality of our work matters more then looking good; she must have had a silly moon and saturn palcement HAHAHAHAHA She would piss me off too, I can't stand someone stepping WAY OVER ME after I'VE worked harder then they have.

So yeah, you a victim of circumstance, you are constantly around the darkside of cappies because of your job. Its better to get to know a cappy women outside of work. We tend to put up a HUGE front, especially around those who have stronger personalities then we do -- HAHAHAHA both virgos and capricorns have strong personalities so this explains alot 😄

Most capricorns with alot of air in there chart tend to be more easy going ... one of the major drawbacks is that they tend to be majorly nonchalant LOL, and this can definitely get to a virgo (man or woman).

I have air in my chart but I have a balance of fire too with some water and earth thrown in, so I'm all screwly. I care but stuff, but I'm nonchalant about others, I can be as sensitive as a baby's butt but as cold as an ice cube too.

I think once Capricorns and Virgos understand each other, it can go beyond the Universe -- capricorns just have to remove the sticks out of their asses and virgos have to remove their heads out of their asses, that's all 🙂

I try to give everyone I meet the benefit of the doubt - you have to prove yourself unworthy of my trust or consideration - but she blew it with me after the first couple of days!

I think we sense that about each other almost immediately. IMO, Virgos are a bit more flexible - except when it comes to CAPs!

Like I said that cappy pilot had other things in her chart too, because normal cap women aren't that bad LOL! Seriously, they only time we turn into bitches is when we feel someone has crossed a certain line with us.
