Virgo&Gemini: Not So Different After All

I know a lot of the virgos on this board dont seem to be such a fan of the geminis (although most will undeniably mention that these two signs can get along to an extent) well, a rather superficial extent.. BUT the point of this thread is not to start arguments or nothin, just sharing a lil theory that i came up with just recently

i once read by a very proficient and intelligent astrology writer that "if you slip a virgo some wine, their thin veil of lies begins to rapidly unfold" and it got me thinking, you see virgo and gemini have one big thing in common .. they both construct this "barrier" of lies (we're not talkin crazy life devastating lies here, just little white lies) to alter their appearance and others perceptions of them. usually they only do it with certain people, ppl whom they are not entirely close with, but the people who they let on the inside they are a lot more truthful to. although i am certain that there is no virgo or gemini out there who is completely 100% honest with anybody, they all have at least some sort of skin of "lies". its not for malicious intent either. i havent really figured out why these signs do it, yet .... but i think it could either have something to do with them caring too much about what others think of them (making a good impression) or preferring to keep a wall between themselves and others by establishing a false persona to throw them off from who is really underneath (so maybe this is where some famous virgo/gemini insecurity comes into play.)

but the original statemtnt holds quite true; when a virgo or gemini gets a lil tipsy or even shitfaced, you will find their gift of gab turns on them and instead of weaving words of silver their tearing down the very fabric of their own disguise. this could be because maybe they secretly WANT you to know who they really are. but it is just so difficult for them, i know as a virgo i can tell you from personal experience that i constantly have 2 voices in my head, and 1 is always telling me what the other person is thinking and that i have to look good. so i end up subconscioiusly lying to make myself look better than i really am. even if it is in the tiniest and stupidest way. and then with gemini you have the same thing. and you know what, that coud be what there referring to when they say gemini has a "twin". maybe it is just a description for their disguise. i do believe as an air (masculine) sign gemini is a bit more obvious about their disguise and may even

have more than one.. so that could be how they earned this "split personality" reputation although virgo has the same thing. and as a earth (feminine) sign it is more subtle and natural to the personality. sometimes so natural, to the virgo that the virgo doesnt even realize they have two sides. which is why people always call the virgo a hipocrit. saying virgo say or does things that contradicts themselves. but they dont realize it!!

soooo any thoughts on this so far? 😛

gems are good people they're spilt personality bugs me tho but im not one to talk having a aqua rising mercury in lira and venus in libra i cant make up ma mind up half of the time busy trying to find balance blah blah blah.

I get along well with Gemini's. I remember a Gem friend I had back in high school we got along great, could talk none stop. And my cousin a gem and she is always fun to talk to. But the split persona thing can be irritating and interesting at the same time.

But back to the topic at hand. I can't speak for all virgos but I don't really tell lies. Got BHD "Brutally Honest Disorder". It's a curse.

When it comes to others sure 😛 but lets face it virgos are just as bad they suffer from a horrible case of self deception

I remember that thread where we were basically bashing gems, and the gems never seemed to hate us. But Zen, I'll have to admit, that the gemini I'm talking to right now seems golden. It could be because he has a virgo moon, but he's slowly turning my opinion on gems around. I've even starting to hate this one gem less as long as he's not trying to hit on me. Mentally, we are very alike. We could probably have the same thoughts and discuss them on end if we just sat down for two seconds and actually talked. But, I think that goes more for virgos who seem to have a intense opposition with gems. I still don't know what it is; In a weird way, gems are our more outspoken equals.

Gemini's do tend to tell themselves a great deal of lies in order to switch personalities when one side of them can't handle a situation, but for virgos it is different. They seek truth, which is a great trait but also a negative one.

The thing that makes virgos hipocrites is the fact that virgos love contrast.

A great example is all the women who come in here talking about how they are having problems or the men that feel used by women they wanted to be with.

This example is easy, they are good guys that want the wild girls. P-angel says that virgos want perfect robotic women, but she is wrong because libras want those kinds of gals (just give it a thought). Virgos want fucked up women to perfect and tame. Why would they get a good girl, they already have an easy going life, so they choose a woman that is difficult, so they begin to experiment on them.

Both rule mecurary, but virgos particually rule the planet while gemini owns it as a whole.


It is true, we do lie...but who doesn't lie.

White lie or not, its a lie, but I find that the lies I say doesn't harm anyone it just gives me space from specific people at times.

Ex: I had to go to court for a traffic ticket, so i had to go to the morning meeting from 8 am - 6 pm, and my libra cousin wanted to come over to watch a boxing fight, i said sure; yet he insisted on coming over at 10 even though he promised he was going to come during the night, so i told him i had to do a few things before he can come over. Well being the libra that he is, he had to know what i was doing and i told him to not worry about it. The guy began complaining and starts bitching, but i didn't worry about it. After I got home, he showed up with a few of the homies, and being like a woman he continued to bitch... So i told the guy, "fine damnit! I went to court driving school to get my ticket removed", so he and the home boys got drunk and started making fun of me for the entire night. I sware I wanted to punch him for being an ass.

^^^This is example of the lies I make, so I don't get smothered with idiots saying stupid crap for the things that go on with my life. I'm not sensitive with people making fun of me, I just got irritated which is a difference, so I keep many things to myself

This is true we are very alike I've had some very close Gem friends there just a little bit more full of life than us thats all and extrusive. However I hadly fall for Gem girls there just not my type and I haven't hanged out with many of them other than a few close friends. Short answer I love Gems entertainment and such just not for a relationship really.

My sister is a Gemini (me Virgo)...and when we get along its like we are the best 2 people on the earth...But when we argue I swear it never fails it becomes physical...shes cut me with a knife...and i have bashed her head into a wall...but its only because she ALWAYS attacks me first
