Virgo & Your Duty.

Virgo...the need to organize and analyze...to prepare for the harvest. Summer comes to its inevitable end as life adds a final touch to perfect the harvest. It is now time to store the bounty of the Earth. Life analyses this bounty, the needs of the community and plans the crop for the year which will follow. A detailed and organized determination is made. Some grain will serve as feed...some as future seed.

...And it was morning as God stood before his twelve children and into each of them planted the seed of human life. One by one, each child stepped forward to receive the appointed gift...

"To you, Virgo, I ask for an examination of all man has done with My Creation. You are to scrutinize his ways sharply and remind him of his errors so that, through him, My Creation may be perfected. For doing this, I give you the gift of Purity of Thought."
...And Virgo stepped back into place.

...Then, God said: "You each have a part of My Idea. You must not mistake that part for all of My Idea, nor may you trade parts with each other. Each one of you is perfect, but you will not know that until all twelve of you are One. Then, the whole of My Idea will be revealed to each of you."

...And the children left, determined to accomplish the job assigned to the best of their ability, that each might receive God's gift...but none fully understood the task undertaken or the promised gift and when puzzled, they returned, God said: "You each believe that the other gifts are better. Therefore, I will allow you to trade." And, for the moment, each child was elated, considering all the possibilities of the new mission.

...But God smiled as he said: "You will return to Me many times asking to be relieved of your mission and, each time, I will grant your wish. You will experience countless incarnations before you complete the original mission I have prescribed to you. I give you countless time in which to do this but, only when it is done, can you be with Me."

I think simple analysis underscores virgos deeper abilities. If you choose to believe that you are simply a toy for analysis and believe you serve no higher purpose than you are a fool, and insult to the sign Vigo. If you choose not to see the broad picture, and look at yourself with promise, you are destined to be a plain jane, or john doe. DON'T SELL YOURSELF SHORT VIRGO!! EVERY SIGN HAS SOMETHING THAT THIS WORLD CANNOT SURVIVE WITH OUT; WE ALL BRING SOMETHING TO THE TABLE!!.

I know but as a Virgo, anything I am passionate about, I remain that way; This post wasn't about anger; it was about offering a new point of view; I was in a sense "cheering" virgos on!...WE ROCK HARD! LOL!

You can believe in astrolodgy and signs and stuff....but you can't believe in the legend?

I guess the main point in the Legend is "To become one" and then we can be with God. 🙂

The legend is simply that; as a virgo, if I cannot test it, or it simply dosen't apeal to me, then no actually; I believe I have a higher purpose than just being an analyzing self-serving machine; and it's time all virgos know this as well, if you were simply brought onto the globe to do something so meager, and inanely small, would you not be upset? I feel it my duty to GIVE to the world, and sanctify it as the Virgo I am; quite a task actually.

I am curious o O, what is your take on what I should do as a Virgo, I'd like a reply not in retaliation, but in honesty, and that dosen't mean angry cursing; I am open-minded, and like seeing things from different view points, even if I do not agree whole-heartedly with them, becuase I think it makes me in a sense 'wholer' and 'humane' and 'enlightened'; we are ALL children of God, and are a part of him, so if I seek the 'parts of God' I can atain some meaning, some answer to the truth of all this madness, and get what I search for... "what am I here for?" I am not seeking your advice or councel, just curiously interested in your point-of-view of Virgo.

They usually come out and open to me =)

On that I am considered a lion, leo, and I suppose it could justify why I overacted to that 'virgo's and their duty comment' sorry cousin; I have a tendancy to want things associated with me to have power, or pride...I want to live I suppose expansively; to just be a virgo, and analyze...and to SERVE....not my idea of a fun, free, proud existence.....oh, yea, I was born September 6 and that is considered virgo domain; if you know, enlighten me...

Virgoexalted, I think you possibly could be a very stressful virgo. Virgos are all about perfection, and this is maybe why you are so touchy at times when you are told something different and you are quick to become offended. You also can't tolerate anything you don't like, for instance, you HATE the fact that virgos are the servant of the pack and thus are weak-minded, you being a virgo perfectionist you can't stand tolerating it. Remember, to give is being generous...humans cannot SERVE...because every human can only function if YOU CHOOSE TO! YOU CAN BE A SLAVE, BUT NOT A SERVANT!! What I'm saying virgoexalted, is that no, your life isn't all about serving, it's all about thinking about what you can do to help people you care about. Just like Virgo in her time...she herself brought down justice and humanity to humans because

I am NOT AT ALL STRESSED. WHAT YOU MAY CONSIDER STRESS, I CONSIDER PASSION; AN UNFAILING LOVE FOR WHAT I AM; I AM MOTIVATED BY PRIDE, AND GENEROSITY; although this in what you say is a considerable idea, I am not a perfectionist; but if you must do SOMETHING in life, give it your all; what is the point of going in half-cocked, and not knowing what you want out of it—— Life should be lived freely, and openly not in a way that offends, or stress a person because they were born between august 23 and september 23; foolishness, I tolerate many things, but I have limitations, or at least, know what I WILL take and WON'T. Also I don't like the idea of not being 'free' she is afterall the winged virgin; to be a virgo is to be possessed by no one; so yes, I agree with that point of not being a servant, but not entirely about perfection; IT IS UNACHIEVABLE, and as an Earth sign, practical, and that which is unobtainable is uninteresting; why pursue, what you know you can't reach—??; I say it all the time; PERHAPS I AM A NEW BREED THAT OTHERS FIND UNCOMFORTING; that is fine; my philosophy is I will be the FIRST, and the LAST in defending my own opinions; to have no one is fine, to have everyone is fine as well, but to have an ideal is hard to change; people die for ideals, and beliefs; I am prepared to fight for mine as well; that is passion, and stubborn ardor, not practicality;.....I am just different, I care and with my moon in cancer, will have a love of people that runs quite deeply; so deeply in fact it has caught the eye of a few Aquarians; but I know when my views are being threatened and will fight back....or at least debate them...
