Dubai vs Singapore is a tough one.

The work load in Dubai is excessive, generally speaking. You would be leaving work after 21:00 on most days and there is no such thing as overtime. It depends on your field to be honest. I'm from a finance background but I did a career move towards arts, which is a less intense environment in general. If you're in engineering or medical backgrounds, then you too would have an average extremely intense days.
Singapore is a more sophisticated, less intense and less alien environment.

i have never worked in the middle east.
logistics/ transportation is my field.. any inputs here?

i also want to understnd the culture and people in uae, how's the social life and professional environment?
where do people hang out on a weekend? or apres work ,do they mostly go to pubs to have some drinks, a bottle or glass of 2?
or is it mostly like hotel bars?
