What would you think of someone who thinks exponentially? Is it a fatal mistake? Like instead of the obvious, they begin to think it is SO difficult it involves exponentials and square roots and such.

this question is just meant to confuse you because regardless of the doubling its still 24 days.... what type of job would even ask this? bc its clearly not for a mathematician.

The very last day is the day that it is completely full.
If the field doubles in size everyday, the day before the last day is when it would be half full.
It takes 48 days to be completely full.. which means on day 47, it is half full.
Day 46.. it would be a quarter full.
Day 45.. it would be an eighth full.
Day 44 etc..
