Biden, Sanders or.....Cuomo?

Andrew Cuomo has definitely shown himself as a leader during this time. The nation has taken notice. What are the odds that he will end up the democratic nominee? Is this even possible without participating in a single primary?

I would definitely vote Cuomo over Biden or Sanders.

I dont know if it's even possible.

He is, by far, the only "Leader" I've seen since 2016.

I would vote Trump over Biden or Sanders

But Cuomo over Trump.

I voted against him in ever election but his leadership during this has won me over.

I don't see Sanders politics to be too extreme. What he suggests can be done responsibly.At the very least I would like to see the price gauging pharmaceuticals put in check. What exactly bothers about his politics?

I do think that our health care system needs a complete overhaul but putting the government in charge is a recipe for disaster. Competition lowers prices and caps put a check on outrageous charges.

Cancelling all student loan debt sounds great, it would save me $ 50k, but it's unaffordable and also a slap in the face to all the people who scrounged to pay for school without loans. Will they be reimbursed?

He wants to do away with the death penalty. I am for the death penalty in certain cases.

His foreign policy is zilch. He wants to abolish ICE.

I consider myself a moderate independent and he is way to liberal for me. Most moderates will agree.

He has a lot of supporters. I can respect that but it just isn't for me.

There is no competition in healthcare.

Pricing is determined by how much Medicare will pay. Everyone else adjust their pricing accordingly so that they can squeeze out a profit at the expense of those needing care.

Agreed goverment control would have it's own complications. However expanding Medicare to open enrollment would create a baseline for quality control for the whole industry. Free market isn't working in healthcare sector because there are actual laws and practices interfering with that. There is a law on the books preventing the goverment from negotiating pricing....compared to every other countries prices there is no excuse.

Any candid who talks about fixing this can expected to be fed to the wolves. That includes caps. Everyone is afraid to address these issues.



I say these things because I Don't see him getting legislation passed without softer policies such as these. Bernie will 95% chance one term. I'm hoping they will blame him while quietly voting for these kind of changes.

It's coke vs. Pepsi in the market. Not real open market completion. They have it all carved up. Medicare will pay whatever they feel like charging. There is no negotiation or price matching or anything of the kind. Not in the US at least.
