I am not so sure about the cheese and onions. Basmati with wild rice would mix well with this.

My favorite is shepherdess pie.
All the ingredients are easily available this pie can fill and is great to sooth out winter blues.
The dish can be prepared and on the table ready to eat in thirty mins
Try this and happy days are back again.

From your regular chef at De Paris Ritz.
only kidding its a recipe that maybe Star would like.

Oh and it costs around a pound to make
is that a dollar and a half?

Hi!
You are right! I love food and love to cook. The ones that get the most raves are my chili, my chicken noodle soup with dumplings, my chicken quesadillas, and my gravies...any kind...
I cannot do without meat...
But, I do make sure I exercise!
Is shepardess pie the one with meat and a gravy and mashed potatoes on top?
The only food I cannot stomach is McDonald's...
I love to cook from scratch and let it simmer...
Later.
Take Care!

Hi!
I agree I love to make food creative and fun! And I love to experiment! If I try something in a restaurant that I really like...I experiment at home and try to create the dish without a recipe...

Since, I love to cook, I rarely measure anything...once at a family gathering...I prepared my dish at my sister's home and my Mom and my sisters' watched open-mouthed when I did NO measuring...it was funny to me! I had forgotten that I was raised to be perfect! And there I was in front of all of them breaking the rules! My Libra sister never recovered! (Just kidding!) It turned out they liked what I made!

I am still trying to figure out how to make the crust for a chicken fajita pizza...sort of a cross between a tortilla and a pizza crust...maybe a crust recipe using corn meal? Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sorry to my vegetarian brothers and sisters for my "meat recipe". I am quite the carnivore so I write about what I know.
Hey Star, I have been getting real thin crisp pizza crusts from a pizza crust mix. I think it's the Betty Crocker mix. I usually get this over at a Wal-Mart.
I also tried using a mix that I got off of the internet by searching for pizza crust mixes.
You can throw some cornmeal down on top of a lightly greased pizza pan and then spread out your dough. It makes it real crisp.
Sorry I was'nt more specific. Take care and have a pleasant chicken fajita pizza.
