Aqua Ex Might Have Turned A Corner. Maybe.

My aqua ex and I broke up a year and half ago, as friends. We did go through some tough times, but stayed decently good friends throughout. Since then we've been everything from party buddies, to fk-buddies, to nothing, to just hanging out friends.

More of the just hanging out friends in the recent 2-3 months.

Well, after X-mas, he called me up and had me over for lunch.
Then, over for dinner. Then dinner again. Holding hands on the couch, leaning up against me. Really sweet stuff. I am afraid to be happy about it, but keeping it very cool.
He calls me now just to chat and wants to hang out 2-3x per week. I'm really not even that available, so it ends up being more like 1-2x per week. But I do think that helps.

Just thought I'd post something sweet about aqua guys up here for the record.

Sounds like your Aqua loves what your projecting out about yourself as a woman. I think he's liking what he's seeing, what he's observing about you & how he feels when he's around you, which explains his need to have some form of communication with you (whether it's having a nice random talk, sex or simply just being in your presence) very often.

I think if your Aqua saw potential in you (relationship-wise) he'd let you know by his continuance of asking for your personal company. And who knows, he might've already thrown you hints (that you didn't get) that he's interested in you long-term OR he might have the possibility of you being a future partner in the back of his mind, but also just for the moment testing the waters out with you first before he makes a decision. He's trying not to think of you just in terms of lust, which explains why one minute, he just wants sex from you & the next he projects that he wants more.

The bad thing is that even though your Aqua may crave your company, it doesn't necessarily mean that he can see you as a potential partner (and I'm sure that's what you want or else I'm assuming you wouldn't be giving so much of your time, body & energy to him). Aquas love being around good company in general & he might be switching up the status between the two of you b/c he doesn't want you to assume that he's leading you on when in fact, all he's doing is simply enjoying your friendship with occasional benefits.

The good thing is, there is something about you that's got this Aqua stimulated & craving for your company. He's not just craving for one thing from you (sex). He actually values his time spent with you & that could mean that your Aqua is seriously thinking about taking things to the next level. You just wouldn't know it yet b/c he's taking things so slow with you.
