I love being an aquarius, I can't complain, I have lots of friends (people feel they can trust me more than others) I'm pretty high energy at times but also can be very mellow.but is it just me or am I just completely phuct in the head??!! I day dream all day all night I want what I can't have and when I get it I let it go but want it again after I lose it!(talkin about men...of course) then when it comes back again I'm friggin confused!!!! all over again! And really all I long for is a true companion. Will I know for sure when the right guy comes or do I really need to work on it? I'm really easy going and honestly don't ask for much...just need to laugh and have fun, and honesty is key! Any relate—

I don't know! I love being Aquarian and love my friends! Intimacy is still a challenge and I am not talking about sex! I mean intimacy as in baring one's soul...

I think a friend who I can indulge in a sexual escapade is the ideal...but, how do I guard my heart and not fall?? I hate being in love!

I don't understand what's so hard about being good friends, having sex, and loving one another (not being in love)without the nature of the relationship changing. I guess that's why the aquarius males I date now love to hate me, but I haven't the slightest clue as to why. I thought they would enjoy a lighthearted friend/relationship, guess not, huh—

Perhaps you touched a part of the heart that scared the guy (without meaning to)...

I am Aquarius and so is my guy. For the most part what we have is ideal...but, there are times that we are pushing each other away...but, not far enough so that we no longer see each other...and I think I do most of the pushing away...

Wish I could give better insight on this. I do know that 'intimacy' is the biggest challenge for an Aqua. We would rather help someone else in need than work on our own 'intimacy fear'...

I... as you probably read aready, am the exact way.
It's true I give goood advice on relationships and stuff too but... I guess the key to all relationship is comunication. I tend to shun away my feelings and ignore what i really want to express but, always need to know or want to know what my partner is thinking or feeling. it's easier said then done. But, as soon as you feel like pushing away think about why you feel the way you do... Then tell your guy how it is that youe feel. Good Luck! What is it about intimacy that aquarius try to avoid it at all cost? Does it have anything to do with being hurt? Or are you afraid that a person will see in-to-me(intimacy).

66, Yeah, for me I think it stems from fear of being hurt...I start to feel vulnerable and my confidence isn't as sound as it usually is..
I mean, normally I am happy with how I look (my figure and my face)...when I am in love, I worry that I look fat or that my nose is too big...dumb stuff! Like that is what matters in life!
I don't worry about how I am inside..I mean I have nothing to hide and think my spirit is one of my best features! LOL! That and my brain! (Except my brain turns to mush with the worry)! I guess normally I don't care if men like how I look and so it is weird for me to be so concerned about it...it makes me feel like I am not my (normal) self...
For me, that is why I try to maintain a relationship that does not result in me falling for the guy! (I have fallen though so...too late for that one!) Because of this, I have bought a few outfits that are sooo NOT me (sexy, slinky stuff) and worn them over to his place (I think just to make him realize I could look that way if I want to)...but, I make it clear that we are NOT going out because I don't dress that way in public (some do, and I don't know how they can feel comfortable!...but, that is just me...). The end result is more amazing sex than usual!! So, that is a good thing!
Maybe it makes me more feminine?! I have read before that an Aquarian woman thinks more like a man than any other female in any other sun sign...
So, for me the worrying starts... and that makes me feel nervous, insecure, and vulnerable...OUT OF CONTROL!
Yuck! No wonder I hate to be in love! LOL!

As far as a male Aquarian...I am not sure...but, I suspect that he too is concerned about vulnerability and being hurt...he skirts sensitive subjects very well! He is more affectionate physically than he is verbally...but, he does have a way with making me feel like I am all he has ever dreamed of! Every once in awhile he will say something that surprises me...but, if I try to have a discussion...he skirts the issue...perhaps that makes him feel trapped??
