Aquarius/pisces cusp with Cancer 2?

Hello everyone,
I have a male aqua/pisces cusp in my radar and I was wondering if someone had some info as to the potential of a relationship with a cancer 2 (or cancer b). You look drastically different, but we can't stop being attracted. He gently forces me out of my comfort zone, and I love it. We learn a lot from each other and love talking to each other a lot. Sometimes, he can totally read me. He knows everything, I don't even have to speak, it's freaky!!!
Is it "aquarian-like" to take things slowly? When we first met, he did everything he could to attract my attention, and now, it looks like he's taking things slow. I don't know if it's typical. It's my first aqua. I usually go out with Tauruses, but I'm sick of them. A last precision: I'm not a typical cancer. I loooooooove my independence and I'm not over the top expressive and clinging. I actually hate that.
