Aquas and Name Calling and Teasing

I read alot of posts by LeoAqua about the infamous teasing by aquas.
But why do they do the teasing. Also I have one girlfriend who has been datng her aqua for 2 to 3 years and he constantly teases her. He also sometimes hugs her and calls her weirdo and insecure cutie and stuff like that. What does that mean? Does he really think his girlfriend is a weirdo? Is there truth in what he says or does he do it to get a rise? Now I assume he wouldnt be dating her if he really thought she was a weirdo or insecure? or maybe he would because aquas like weird people> Just quite interesting and wondering what people think what this means. Still dont really get aquas and now am trying to learn about them early enough as I just started dating an aqua. He is really sexy.

They just tease for the sake of seeing what gets to you...it's their way of getting to know you inside and out...if you react he understands you a little better. It's somewhat stupid but either you take it with a pinch of salt or you end up committing suicide. He teases me about being a bad cook, a terrible driver, an air-head you name it....we laugh about it though because it's just his sense of humour - I in turn can tease him about his dress sense, he's funny feminine actions whilst his cooking (since HE's the better cook 😉), the grey coming through in his bead you name it. Again it's just in the name of fun. He calls me Shrimp - it's his nickname for me and was created in a tease...roll with it it's not meant in a nasty way but an endearing kind of way.

Thanks guys. But when he does is there any element of truth in the name calling. Like insecure, does he really think the person is insecure. If so, even if it is a tease that doesnt feel good.
By the way, dont aquas like strong people. If he thinks someone is insecure, what about that?

I tried to cook Shrimps once and they were disgusting....
There probably is some truth....I am a bad driver and I've taken him down one-ways plenty of times so he teases me about it - I'm mature enough to admit that I am dangerous on the roads...
But it's not meant in a nasty way - their way is very sarcastic and they do get off on teasing you but the minute you react in a defensive way they see you as weak...you should be able to take it. Sometimes the tease is over exaggerated by an event...so I once tried Shrimps and they flopped but he turned it into a joke for friends and family to laugh at....I can laugh at myself too.

They love getting it back too.

I enjoy teasing people (must be the Aquarius in the mix) and actually enjoy being teased (provided it doesn't border on nasty)- it's a battle of wills sometimes as to who's the wittiest, funniest, meanest without being cruel - my boyfriend and I can do it for hours and eventually I have all the girls in our company backing me up and all the boys backing him up and we just keep lovin each other all the way 😉
I guess the trick is to tease back without insulting and be mature enough to accept it back. There have been times where he's teasing has borded on nasty and I've flat out told him that - he went on just a little too long about my rubber eggs the one morning until eventually I said ok now you're being hurtful time out. He stopped immediately.

The other day....and we tease each other constantly....we were dishing our take outs onto plates. We had to share the sauce, so I spooned some onto my plate and put the balance onto his plate. We asked why I did that...I answered, "so that I don't have to sit next to you". He laughed and called me something along the lines of cheeky. I said ah you love it. He said actually I do...I think to myself what a cow and then I think but I love it.

So there you have it - it turns them on!

The more an Aqua tease you, the more he likes you! Although there is some truth in what he said, he really does not mean it in a mean way. Just laugh it off, and when he is least expected, take a shot back at him! Feel free to punch, spank, hit him, but do it with a smile 🙂 By taking his joke and shot back, you have shown that: (1) you are secure enough about yourself (2) you are intellectual (3) have a good sense of humor. And those are, in my opinions are a huge turn on for an aqua.

If he stop teasing you, then you can start worry! Why so serious!? 🙂

I have a problem with the way my aqua has spoken to me. He says not to take it personally, but his immaturity is a much too much for me to bear at the times he chooses to speak to me "in such a manner" the rest of the time, its not a problem and we enjoy each other, this has caused a break in our "relationship" and he is younger than myself.

I am a bit insecure with him, not so much what he is saying, but where he takes it and to what levels, which did affect me in the past.

we have been at this almost two years on and off, who knows what the future holds.

Emotionally, he cant admit to "NOThING!"
