Are All Aquarians Eccentrics?

I am an Aquarian 2/9, and all my life I've struggled with my eccentricity and my need for "more".I'm really artsy and spiritual. Also modern and high tech. It is hard for me to make friends, although in groups, I'm the social buzz. I'm split between being an extrovert and intro? Are the rest of you like that? I'm forever confused!!!!!!!!

The Aquarians Ive met have been exactly the way you described... perhaps more interest in what's behind peoples 'front image' will get you more in balance with your extro/introvert tendancies? Also, the AQ. Ive known have a tendancy towords fanatical insecurites when they are going into their introvert phases. Perhaps this is the best time to open up to someone.

I have sometimes been misunderstood, but, for the most part, I love who I am...
I love my Aquarian openness and desire to do what is best for the greater good...I have passed my giving nature and my creativity on to my Aquarian daughter (although she is a very unique individual)...but, I revel in who we are...because we are special indeed!!

I can understand what you are saying. I find that I can socialize with just about anyone but when it comes to making friends they are usually people very different like myself, also an artist who likes creative minds. I've been in a long learing process and now I am very happy alone, I don't care if I make any friends anymore at all. In fact I love my own company LOL!

Hello 68. I must admit that I feel like that much of the time. I too am involved the fine arts and am either fearlessly leading others through brain storming activities and charging head-on into deadline defying art frenzies or I'm in the background somewhere not willing to be outspoken but just wanting to go along for that time period (maybe just not in the spirit at that moment).
In retrospect I have received many comments about my eccentricity. This is a good thing as it helps to loosen up stagnant thinking patterns and gets others get into the spirit when they feel like it too.
The feelings that I don't care for much are the feelings of self-conflict that come on. These create horrible dark moods that I don't like to go through.
Music always helps smooth these moods out.
I've learned to accept ,love, and nourish my eccentricity and love being around others who are like this too. It's fun!

If you are in a relationship with a person for a year and a half and that person claims to love you so much they want to marry you, and you love them back but are still 3 months away from finalizing a divorce, and they suddenly become distant just before their job takes them out of town for a few months, and they dump you and won't even talk to you-whats the deal? OH YES....IF YOU ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH AN AQUARIAN (WOMAN) SHE CAN LOVE AND MISS YOU ONE DAY, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN FORGET WHO YOU ARE AS LONG AS IT SUITS HER...THEY VIEW THINGS FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW...ANYONE ELSES DOESN'T SEEM TO BE IMPORTANT...THEY CAN BE DOWNRIGHT INSPIRATIONAL TO THE POINT OF FINDING SOMEONE WHO CAN FILL IN THE AWSOME GAPS LEFT BY HER WHEN SHE FINDS WHAT SHE THINKS MAY BE HER "SOUL MATE".
(FOR THAT MONTH, ANYWAY) SMALL WONDER THEY END UP LOVING THEMSELVES...BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN TRUELY UNDERSTAND THEIR WAY OF LIFE...TOO BAD THEY ARE SO DAMNED LOVABLE...

Sorry that yours didn't work out...I am very sensitive and 'in-tune' with my guy...I have always been that way...

My past relationships didn't work for a variety of reasons...but, neither of us felt it was just my fault...we agreed in one instance that it was all his fault! LOL! (But, it was...)
OK. I can also be stubborn, unpredictable, too sensitive, dogmatic...

I am my own best friend...but, that has only enriched my personal relationships...I am more free to give because my own needs are not at the fore-front...because I am not needy in the love area...make sense??

Sometimes insecurities are hidden, but, eat away at a person and therefore eat away at the relationship...

Oh, one other thing...

I do something different that I didn't do before.

I make myself discuss things I don't want to discuss. I make myself ask questions I don't want to ask. I do the 'difficult communication' that I never did before because it was out of my 'comfort zone'...but, is SOOO important...it eliminates most misunderstandings...and brooding on either part...(fortunately, you don't have to do the 'difficult communication' very often...cause it never gets easier...I still hate it! But I do it...)

(Suggestion: I interviewed guys on my first date...on issues that were important to me...I don't think they felt interviewed...they were all wanting to see me again...which is one reason I think men are fickle...anyway, it really ensured that the guy I see is on the same track I am...of course, I had to like the way he smelled too! The attraction had to be there. I sometimes think that men ONLY care if the attraction is there...just a thought...)
