That's a hard question...hmmm...... I like being with someone that I truly like, but on the otherhand, I do find myself happier single when women hit on me frequenly. It's like getting a free ego boost without being tied down to that person. And now that I think about it, I was alot more cocky before I tried working with this last chick.... It really depends on the situation. You're better alone and "Jock-a-licious" I guess.....

Since most men bore me to death, I prefer to be attached...but, it has to be with an intellectual who can impress me without trying and also make me laugh sincerely...believe me, it, apparently, is not easy to meet my requirements...(according to men)...silly them...they think a woman should just swoon at their feet and beg to be taken off...somewhere...I don't know where...because I choose not to go to such places with a knave who would have me only for my body...
Ahhh...but the man who seeks me out for my intellect and my sense of humor...well, then...we shall have quite an adventure!

Hi!
Gosh, you made me blush! Seriously!
Thank you for your kind words...
I do try to be a good person and continue to learn! To me to stop learning would be to stop living!
I look at my Mom and she only partially lives because she has had so many heartaches...but, when she shut off the part that feels such sorrow, she also shut off the part that feels great joy...she is like this neutral-emotion person...essentially a shell of the vibrant person that I am sure she was but that I never knew...
Don't get me wrong, I love her...
But, I did learn things about what not to do or how not to be from her from observation...
I will never give in and feel beaten in this life! I will forever remain vibrant!
May You Be Blessed My Friend!

That is really great Star that you can still keep that attitude especially when you grow up with someone who doesn't see the world the same way. I grew up with parents who are very negative and always see the bad, refusing to see all the good, and whats the use attitude, and I know that isn't right, but sometimes I find myself, out of habit, just being the same way. How can you keep so positive? I really admire that!

Hi!
I wish I had a simple answer...
I know this sounds weird, but as a small child, I prayed to God to give me wisdom...it was what I wanted most..(odd, I suppose...)
Anyway, I tend to think of everything as a learning experience...I am afraid to let go of the "learning", because I have known intellectuals who think they KNOW everything, and when that happens they are no longer learning...
I try to learn from my mistakes and my successes...
I use positive affirmations daily and Angel meditate daily..
I try to be real and honest with people.
Even though I love my Step-Dad dearly, he can be negative and quick to anger...
I can at times see traits of both of my parents in me...(SCARY! LOL)
I think it is good to be aware...we can't change in one day..but, we can eventually become who we want to be and celebrate our successes! That is part of it, I think...celebrate who you are and who you will become!
I hope I helped some...talk to me agian if you wish...
Take Care!

When I was a child I remember staring at the stars at night and thinking that I belonged out there somewhere. I know that my real nature isn't negative and that there so many wonderful gifts in life that I never saw before, but sometimes I find myself getting just as negative as my parents. I also pray daily. Sometimes I think that as a child I was taken so far away from my true self, that I wonder if I will ever get to be me because my parents, and ex were always and still are, criticizing the way I am or look. But I think i am getting there and it is a very long slow road, sometimes painful, but you have the right attitude star. best wishes

Hi!
I feel bad that so many criticize others...that is a tough one to get over..
I saw a show last night on MTV that amazed me...there were these midgets whose fingers were so short they had to use assistive devices to do things we take for granted...tying shoelaces, brushing teeth, etc...yet, they were happy people, for the most part...one girl in particular...she was so sweet and happy! And yet, her life was so obviously difficult...

I do not mean that we should be feeling guilty that we have troubles too...

But, try to always be learning...from whatever source..

Please do try to use positive affirmations...it may sound and feel awkward to do, but, you are the only one who can do this for yourself...
Say to yourself daily, "I am a good person. I am lucky, and good things come to me. I am grateful for everything I have." (This could be the beginning of change!)
Also if you read my angel meditation under "Angry Aquarius" that would be helpful too! Love yourself. We tend to ignore that... It is extremely important!
Talk to you later!
Take care!

Hi Star, I did your angel meditation last night and it felt really powerful. I agree that if you look at other people and their situations that you can be grateful for what you have. What I find so hard, if not impossible at times is that when I am positive and I am surrounded by people (3 of them) who are very negative and they seem to pull me down to their negative level. How can I stay positive when I am surrounded by this? I guess its probably a very hard lesson for me to learn, but I agree, I have just recently just realized how much there is to be greatful for, even though I am in a situation that I am not happy with, I still can count my many blessings. Sometimes I think that negativity and chaos is taught, and that I have to teach myself another way of being. all the best, P.

Hi!
I cannot take real credit for the Angel Meditation as I did not come up with the idea...it has been around for years...

I do not want to encourage you to leave where you are...that is not my place to do so...
But, I do know that negativity breeds negativity (usually) and has a way of sucking the wind out of the positive sails (that we worked so hard to get up!)...
Take it step by step and hang in there!
For some reason, I can sometimes dispell negativity in my family members and turn the situation into a more positive one...I do this with the use of humor...
But, this has only happened recently it seems...I noticed the other day that my Mom is beginning to learn some of the things that I learned long ago...
But, this has all taken much time...my entire life up to now!
I wish you the best...you can contact me here any time...I will look for you..
