Awkward!

Okay, so over the years my crushes have always been aquarius. Mostly because they pay the least amount of attention to me.

Anyway, there HAVE been more than a couple Aquarius men who have been interested in me-- this is the usual pattern.
They like me for some time, then finally gain the courage to ask me to hang out.
I like to have a good time- so usually I have SO much fun. I'm like this with anyone I feel comfortable around.
So I'm pretty sure theyre interested in me, at least as a friend.
Then out of nowhere- they make a move- and I'm completely not expecting it!
Then once they make a move which completely validates they like me (for example, we end up making out)- they get awkward!
Like so awkward, they ignore me, like they don't want to be obvious.

Aquarius men have even admitted to me they like me, and I know it-- but then they don't do anything about it but act awkward.
Theyll be cool and friendly and fish for my attention at a party or if we're out but never completely pursue it. We usually just end up ignoring eachother. I refuse to look more interested! lol
I just don't get why they get so awkward if they like me.
And also- if they catch me alone- theyre the cutest. Like they start telling me they want to hang out with me again, or catch up-- and I'm like yeah sure but then they never pursue it.

Even when I was in 8th grade years and years ago - it was like this. This aquarius boy would instant message me EVERY DAY and we'd talk for hours all night.
Then at school he'd ignore me and pretend not to notice me. And I'd just catch him stealing glances at me and ignore him.

heres the thing with that.....

we love to be approached/pursued, but even in 2015 its very uncommon. if you don't go this avenue your only other option is to play to his ego when he thinks he has you in the right spot or drop some serious hints or jokes.

for some reason we are afflicted with a heavy dose of what is described as prudish or traditional behavior. But I can see this as Aqua's original ruler was Saturn........

thats how a Pisces got me, she made it seem like I needed to do all the pursuing and teased me about setting up dates.......so basically she mind f*kd me into thinking the date was my idea. Virgo is also very good at this. its a big turn on for me 😄

@OP lol very sorry for this but most aquas spend their years being opposed by everyone, after some time we develop a shield to protect ourselves & shut people out. We are very stubborn, hardly anyone can change our view. Also, we constantly repress our emotions too even though we have abundance of if but we just love to be rational & not let it show. Emphatize your aquas a bit & give him time to respond to u emotionally. Its not easy for us but deep inside we wanna embrace u its just hard to show it physically.

One other thing OP, aquas pay a lot of attention to their mates its just we do it subtly. We dont do the mushy stuff like walk up to u & look into your eyes etc. We always watch over people we care silently & most people will not realize it. Thats the aqua way of showing love, not too much mushy stuff but genuine intention 🙂

Ok you need to know that Aquarians being an air sign, WE ARE NOT GROUNDED!!! Which means we live in the past and in the future but in our heads, this is our domain.

Sometimes when we get with someone it forces us to become grounded and focus on the present, here and now and living in the here and now makes Aquarians insecure because we are unsure what will happen..
