Baby talk

Yeah, my aqua has started talking to me like a baby, hahaha..you know with a baby voice and shit. I am surprised, its only started after nearly a year together, and he's never been like that before come on..im 26 and he's 29, lol!!! And we??re moving in together on Saturday, im scarreedddddd!!! He says he's not, but he should be, this is the true test.

I don't know if you mean he's talking to you like a child, as in literally or if he's treating you like a child, meaning he sees you as immature & not worth talking to like an adult.

If he's talking to you like a child (literally) then girl, don't let that bother you. There are bigger things that men can do that should make/break the relationship. As long as his "baby talk" isn't destroying the relationship in any way or isn't used to demean you, then don't make a big deal out of it. Weirdly, I sometimes make baby faces & talk to my partner like a child but it's just b/c in my mind, it's my weird way of playing with him & being the "oddball" even to my own partner.

Now if he's talking down to you in a condescending way, as in he's the parent & you're the child, then I'd run like hell b/c those are signs of an abusive & controlling partner.
