Birthday Gift Idea for Aqua..should I even get him

Hello...I was wondering if anyone on has any birthday ideas for aquarian males. I have been kind of seeing this guy for 4 mths...we don't have any definite labels on our relationship...we're friends, who started off with the hooking up thing..but feelings are starting to develop on both sides..his bday is FEb. 17th...right after V-DAy!! I want to get him a little gift, but nothing major as we are not techincally bf and gf...but, I was thinking, how are Aquarians with Valentine's day...my guess is that my aqua probably thinks its a stupid hallmark holiday and will want to have nothing to do with it...so IF he feels this way, and therefore does not recognize the day or wish me in any sort of way, should I still get him a little birthday gift? What if I'm doing to much by getting him one, will it scare him or freak him out? I would like to think he woudl feel really special if I recognized his birthday...if so, ANY GIFT IDEAS? I know he likes his laptop and computer type things, he has an IPOD, but I want to do something original but something he would like...hmmmmmm....HELP if you can!!!

Well, I guess I personally thing vday is cheesy at this point in my life...I don't care either way...but If I didn't hear from him at all that week I would feel disappointed...I don't think we MUST have a VDAY celebration! Maybe just some attention that week would be nice....but the dinner idea is good-only I don't think I can have it at my house...I own my own home but my mother is living with me presently and it woudl be pretty strange to have him over with her around! I wonder if I should make him dinner and bring it to his house! That is a good idea though! He is a much better cook than me though, great ugh!
