What is the one thing you??d most like to change about the world?
Change the world

As you have mentioned in the Pisces forum... Selfishness is the root evil to all problems in this world. I wish that could be done away with.

Aboslutely nothing. If there's anything that I can change it's myself that's about it.
I use to believe a single voice can change the whole world that idea seems further and further away. People all have their own opinions and beliefs and that's the beauty of it. This is our world and changing any part of it wouldn't make it the same anymore. From what supposed chaos comes structure and whatever structure creates chaos, if I were to really believe it can change it would've changed already. "Same shit different smell" however crude the saying, makes perfect sense.
What I did want to change? Better education, a better government, better understanding of one another and whatever you can classify world peace under. It's nice to think about these things but perhaps I was too naive? *shrugs*
I don't have a bleak view of the world, there's beauty in it for sure. It's just I find it much easier to better myself and focus just on one person in the world at a time. If I can make at least one person feel better for that day it's good enough for me.

Very deep.... Very beautiful.... Very wise.

I think everyone should look within themselves for any change they want. You can always TRY to change things, and if not, you will have affected others along the way. Nothing will truly change in the world if there isn't change within.

That's certainly one of my views too. Just not one that I'm quite sure on. There's so many facets in this world, so many powers at play and so many beliefs. I'll admit I'm a touch cynical and if there's ONE thing that I would want to change is for everyone to have an open mind.
It's just time and time again conflict is a reoccurring motif and it's universal. On one part the segregation of the different races makes this world an interesting and beautiful place to look at it's the cause of most conflicts, different cultures, religions and practices. "What I do and believe is right, what you do is wrong". But then will absolute integration work? How do civil wars begin? The need for power? Are we destined to be the kids from Lord of the Flies? I certainly don't want to think that but it's most probable.
So then what if we strive for equality, abolish governments? I might agree with my own government but if I choose to run it my way would others really agree? Pleasing the mass still isn't pleasing everyone. In this day and era we thrive of economy but what is the driving force behind it? For a stable society? At the cost of money? The poor complain and the rich complain. Everyone has their idea of where funds should go, to better the children for a better education. To defense to protect our country, to creative outlets to inspire innovation, too the starving of the third world countries, to the government jobs that keep our country running, too new green ideas for a cleaner future. To charities which they in themselves have their own subsets where to help people they must spend money to advertise. Everything's chaotic to me but in perfect order.
What about the human condition? What is life without passion and love and adventure? Do stupid people really exist or are we really just biproducts of our upbringing and environment? If we were to all be the same do you think the system much like in the "Brave New World" is any better? We all want better lives and we can all get there but who's left to do the jobs that nobody wants to do? To me this is reality and as painful as it is and as much as I want to change it I can't.
Sorry for ranting 😢

^ I know in wanting an open mind I should be open to change too, classic aqua contradicting syndrome lol

I would make the world about the same size as the star sirius......but then id need an even bigger sun to maintain earth oh well........id also make it turn slower so night and day last 24 hours each......Id also like to add dinosaurs and massive bugs that eat dinosaurs so were very much at the bottom of the food chain to keep us in a state of perpetual fear....
theres alot of things id change but first thing would to make earth stupidly huge which means the mountains are bigger the plants the oceans rivers lakes you name it i wanna feel small......

well you need an ego to first learn that it is not your real self. Ego is a neccesary evil because you can't get rid of it and get self realization without first making ego "mistakes" and going through the whole drama. yes it is definetly the balance for people. Th e devil and the god on your shoulder are really your loud ego vs your silent heart speaking to you .
You so wise, gandalf, you making that change ?

How many times my ego has limited me. Self-actualization is just part of my journey during this lifetime, some good suffering as well. I hope to come back as something really amazing. The realization that we are all just bumbling idiots, limited by nothing other than our own selves. I've had a very interesting last 2 years.
I met an aries who really opened my eyes to this way of thinking. Makes sense to me.
Ive been so happy this past year but its also a very spiritual journey

well with all things...
BALANCE.
...and honestly, we're all unbalanced. until we meditate and find that within ourselves.
like aquanoz says, we can chatter till the crows come home....

You know some peopel have described during their astral dreams that the higher worlds have such breathtaking imagery. such clean crisp air and sparkling water and colors so beautiful that it makes you smile with wonder.
still have ways to go though before we can get there. we need a lot ofd internal work and quieting like u say. Hopefully consciousness evolves quicker and better. I would like a light body lol.
uh huh....yeah, nirvana with dancing girls there too? Psychedelic flash lights up and down, some weed and wine?
nope, no women of the night for you mister. only nirvana.
don't fear the reaper!!

I think it is really in the fixed signs that we strive for find a real self but I sometimes wonder whether our real self is mutable and open to change. Can it be out of the question that our ego dictates who we are and when it falters we view it as that necessary evil for us to progress further? What if there is no true self and this sort of ying and yang relationship is what makes up the entirety of us.
And pfft ladies are easier to think about 😉
