Confused by an Aqua...

Hi guys. I've been lurking on these boards for a while but this is my first post.

I'm a Libra female. The Aqua and I made out a few times as teenagers, then I moved away for school.

10 years pass, he contacts me out of the blue, telling me how much he liked me and how annoyed he was with himself that we never got together as a couple when he had the chance. We've emailed and texted fairly regularly ever since. Sometimes friendly, sometimes naughty, you know the score...I was in no doubt whatsoever that he wanted to get together.

He initiated several dates for when I was hom visitng friends/family, but he always ended up cancelling. I sensed that when it actually came down to it he was nervous about seeing me, despite the manly bravado act he was putting on. After the last time I got fed up and stopped contacting him. Yet he continued to contact me, which surprised me as part of me had started to think he wasn't that interested after all, because of the cancellations.

I then moved back home, got headhunted for a great new job. Told him I was moving, he again said he wanted to take me out when I got back.

So I messaged him saying I'd moved and he said that was great but that he couldn't see me as he'd just started seeing someone!!!! So I played it cool and made it clear I was backing off, to which he said him an this girl would be over by xmas so we could get together!!!!!!!!!!! What's he playing at—? I'm not contacting him again, even though I want to/want him. Help please!!!!!
