Do we need to change, or the world?

I feel like the defender of all things civil and good in the world...and it' s tough! It makes me numb to watch tv and read the news online where people are so obviously doing wrong. Do they have no idea of the fact that they have lost their moral compass— There are two choices to make, 1 follow the herd, go with the flow of the moral decay of the times or 2 keep being the change I want to see in the world.
Is it just me fellow Aquas or do some of you feel the same?

Are you actually a defender of all things civil and good? Or is it a mere thought that can be attributed to being aquarius. Don't you see that good and evil is relative and in the eye of the beholder? What makes you think what you fathom to be just and equal can be applied to everyone?

Do you find it funny inevitably you're stuck in this system and you yourself is just a mere sheep in the herd? Do you really think one single voice can change an entire world filled with different opinions, cultures and beliefs? Do you consider it might be a fact these news you read online and on television may be considered biased and not a true reflection?

There's many things to talk about and ask. I will suggest looking for the answers and not sit idly by if you believe being the defender of this world is your calling otherwise it's just another useless intellectual ramble about how different aquas want to feel 🙂

Am I the true defender of all good, well no but I am certainly the defender of my good. The good that I feel is being munched away by the bad I see around me.
It makes me feel like an outsider/nonconformist swiming against the tide.
Can a single voice change things, well yes, of course! A single voice, if it will be believed, can launch a thousand battleships.

What I am asking is simply do you guys also feel the same? Is it an aqua thing or a me thing?
Don't particularly want to get into philosophical debate on the "am I who I image myself to be or am I who I am right now", although that would make for interesting debate 🙂

It's not even a question of changing or advanced principles or morality and ethics.

The best and most effective way is simply considering the other person and putting them first including complete strangers.

The world won't change until men and women stop being dual. Good and bad. Perfection will never be reached but life is lived in the journey towards it. Make yourself as perfect as possible but love others because they arern't.

Good and evil is anything but relative. Everyone knows instinctively the difference between right and wrong. There's just so many people obsessed with their greed and selfishness.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't stand up and try to change the world, if you don't no one will and we're stuck in a vicious circle. It doesn't matter if you're alone or if there's just a few who think like you. I don't know if it's an aqua thing though. Henry Thoreau felt the same way and he was a cancer. Unless he had strong aquarius influences in his birth chart? Dunno.
Anyhow I never give up my ideas simply because I'm the only one defending them.

I don't think I can change the entire world, only the world that I've created for myself and loved ones. I only take responsibility for my actions and don't feel the need to butt my nose in anybody else's business. If I see something going on like on that show (What Would You Do?) I will step in and help. I only ever feel the need to defend myself.

It's not even about greed it selfishness. Those are just symptoms. It's about fear. It breeds those things which ultimately lead to indifference...you don't care one way or the other as long as it guest affect you. You may care some but not enough to take action.

How does it happen? Subtlety through procrastination. I know I should help but...or I'll always have time and I just want to have fun...or it's boring or insert excuse here. It's really simple and doesn't involve some great mystery or high level of thinking. It's about each person taking a positive step every day.

The world is cruel :/. A lot of people have no idea that they've lost their morality but a lot of people are well aware but simply don't care. Humanity is well, human. People make mistakes, people are afraid to step outside of the circle of 'normal' and being shunned. Because they want to be accepted and are afraid of being lonely, and I can't fault them for that. I don't agree with you on that, there are far more than two choices to make and situations are far more complicated. Humanity and it's choices are not black or white, it's gray. Everything is a shade of gray.

But I'm not an Aquarius, I'm a realistic or pessimistic(depending on who you ask) Capricorn in a foreign land. So perhaps my perception is a bit different from most Aquarians(?). Just my two cents.

I'm not an aqua. I'm a cap with aqua mars if that counts. ??

I agree with you that in my opinion the world is turning away from what has traditionally been considered moral. The question is what sets the foundation of morality? Is it the Bible? Organized religion? Basic manners? Society? Civilization?

All you can do is to lead your own life with your own moral compass. You can try to influence those in your proximity, but they are left to their own choices and opinions or views on what is moral and what is not. Be true to yourself and don't let others tempt you into leading what you would consider an immoral life. No matter how difficult it is to stand for what you believe, have the courage to do so and you will be happier within yourself.

No one is perfect. Us as a whole is also not perfect. In a herd, each and every sheep looks the same at first, but it still has some different qualities, and even the slightest difference can make an impact.

Not completely different, not completely the same, that's how all living things are. Differences make changes, similarities preserve balance. Isn't it how nature works?

Aquarians have the ability to figure things out and change quickly, so don't worry, we're going to fit in and still be us. What happened, are happening and will happen, are only the way it is meant to be. So it doesn't matter to the world if you can change it or not, it only matters to you. I personally am trying my best every single day to fulfil "that" duty too.
