You are not paranoid...he just isn't as interested. all i know is that when i act like him...its simply im not as interested in the person to have to make time to get to know them. I tend to be less wishy washy in the presence of someone who not only holds my interest but as well as balances me out. The more fickle i am reflects that i am bored with whomever i am with.
So just perhaps he is the same way just with different reasons.
