How do you feel about Virgos?

My mother, daughter and one of my best friends are all Aquarius. I get along well enough w/ mom and daughter. My friend and I totally 'get each other' but I wonder if that is simply an intellectual/IQ thing b/c I feel like there is a little "something" about me that they dont like or that maybe they are intimidated by me in some way....—

I cant explain it b/c its subtle but its there. Its like maybe they 'keep 'secrets' from me' or they can be jealous or just b*tchy towards me (yeah, I know. I can be a b* too!)


How do you feel about Virgos? Do you like them? What is it about them that you dont like?

The only reason an aqua would dislike a virgo is if that virgo is intimidating. Other than that, Virgos are real right..

My mother is a aqua too. 🙂 We've had many ups and downs, almost too many, but to this day, she will always jokingly ask me, "Am I your best friend?" It's so cute really.

I have an aqua guy best friend as well.

I'm 50/50 with Virgos. Aquas & Virgos are alot alike in some areas & these similarities can either cause us all to clash OR aid in us meshing very well. Just depends on the person & the type of friendship/relationship they have with eachother.

The good:
I think Virgos are hilarious. They have a weird kind of humor about them. They're very good at giving advice b/c like Aquas, they're good at picking a part a story & paying attention to details that other people missed. I love the "detective" in them b/c it reminds me alot of myself & my Aqua friends. Virgos will do anything for you; they're "actions" kinds of folks; I love that when I need them, they don't hesitate to have my back or do things for me that I'd have to beg or sarcastically convince others to do for me.

The bad:
When Virgos get in their "over critical" mood, they come off as being so judgemental, critical & just plain close-minded. Granted, I'm aware that alot of people think the same of Aquas too (sigh). Since both signs have alot of mutual respect for eachother, it's hard for 1 of them to see the other making a stupid or naive decision. We may be a little more harsh on Virgos (or vice versa) when we see this b/c we expect more; We can damn near act like we're disgusted with the other if the other does something out of character or something that we feel is "beneath" us.

I agree with pretty much everything krys said (and usually do), except for the part about virgo being more closed minded. More practical, indeed. And i would say aquas are open to more progressive, ungrounded ideas and accepting of ppl as a whole. But when it comes down to being stubborn, aquas fixed nature is much more close minded than a virgo.

I pretty much agree with what he^^ said. it takes a close-minded person to be a visionary and that's what the aqua has to bring to the table. Virgo is 'open-minded' and thus develops into less of a forceful/strong leader?

Although I really got surprised at aqua being 'intimidated' by virgo.. Are virgos that scary??

I can see what you mean about the visionary thing. I think it also has to do with ideas just being fabricated out of thin air, since they are air signs. I'm a designer and work with a few aquas in advertising. They can be very creative, but also less open to others ideas, or more so just fixed on their own. In the same line of thought though, i've always took the term visionary to mean someone who simply has an idea and is able to put it into action, in which case, if there is too much air involved, nothing ever gets done because they tend to "mentally masturbate" an idea for too long rather than just tackling it, lol.... And i mean that in the most loving way possible 🙂 the most creative person we have on our team is an aqua with a lot of capricorn influence. But his ideas aren't as refined as the more virgoan influenced members.

As far as being leaders i would have to disagree. Leaders imho, are people who are able to "rally the troops" so to speak, and incite a group movement, usually by positive emotional stimulation. Aquas i know are too self involved, or would simply rather beat to their own drummer. But if you just mean they tend to start things rather than follow, i see your point.

As far as aquas being intimidated by virgos, i think they are intimidated by how grounded we can be. And we also don't tend to talk quite as much. When i listen to an aqua i make lots of eye contact and can feel them getting uncomfortable sometimes, damn scorpio moon! Anyone else notice this?

just because someone overtly says or explains something (air signs) doesn't mean that everyone else isn't thinking the same thing. That's the biggest problem I have with the assessment that > because someone is good at explaining things means they are more intellectual than a more introverted person.

You guys ever read works of different authors dividing people into strictly introvert or extrovert categories?
