GL, I can't get into that genre. The last scary-ish movie I saw was The Ring. I saw the Exorcist and the Shining all in one night when I very young. My mom was out of town one weekend and my dad watched after us 3 kids and he let my brother pick out the movies and those were the 2 he chose. My dad and brother pulled a prank on my sister and I during part of the Shining. My brother acted as if he was going to his room for something and my dad acted like he was going to the kitchen. But what they actually were doing was my brother crept behind the sofa that my sister and I were laying on and my dad went into the garage to pull the breaker. The lights went out, me and my sister were silent for a brief moment and then the sofa starts shaking - we start screaming and running in all directions. I slept on my parent's floor or in their bed for a good 2 weeks because I was afraid my dresser was going to start spinning around my room.

I heard the Grudge is scary and now I've seen commercials for the sequel. I heard that The Hills have Eyes is also scary, but I prefer a different genre.
