reading people

what exactly does an aqua mean when they use the term 'read people'?

I had an aqua friend say 'I can't read him' about another friend of ours. (he's aries)
What would he be trying to read about him?

Is there a difference between men and wmen and what they try to 'read'?

It's true about the other friend... the other friend blocks emotions, even facial expressions, UNTIL you get to know him better. It took me a good year to understand him, know when he's lying, etc.

Now the aqua friend..I could read him well after about 4 months. And it only took so long because he likes to play games,lol.

I've been told I am hard to 'read'. I'm a Cap and for me it depends on how well I know you or let you in to my private life.

I'm not sure what everyone means by that, but I know for me...I can see the core of people long before others can. Its happened so many times where I met someone...immediately didn't like them for this and that reason....my friends argued with me and told me I was wrong, but I would refuse to spend time with them. Only years later, they agreed and cut ties with those people as well.

The Aries friend has a very strong 6th sense about people and things. I'm also wondering if this is why the Aqua friend can't read him because Aries won't allow him to be read. IMO, if Aqua does read him, he won't like what he sees about... himself! LOL

lol wierd people you. reading others like a book. im an easy person to read. most people like what they see. a calm face to the world. nice guy. good friend. those are traits you aquas will see. probly more or less. i dont need to read people. i either like them or i dont...its a gut feeling intuition.

My ex wife is an aqua, she used to say this exact thing all the time. I got feelings like that about people too. There's no other way to really explain it other than saying it's just reading people. Her and I warned many friends about people based on these feelings we'd get when we meet someone. Our feelings always agreed and we were never wrong.

I'm a Cap with Aqua tendencies but I also go by intuition.
I can also walk into a room and get a sense of the atmospheere by how it 'feels' to me.
I have a great memory and can remember things people say/do that some might not and over time, put 2 and 2 together.
Facial expressions are a big clue in for me, not neccessarily what someone says.

I think this is exactly what does it for me too.

I said this once in another thread a while ago that I sometimes turn the volume off on say news channels or during any interviews on TV and just watch their facial expressions to see if I can get an accurate feel as to what I would think of them if I heard what they were saying! Try it sometime! I bet you'll be right most of the time!

Ya, think? Then why are there 30,000,000 threads with the subject:

"Please help me understand my Scorp/Cancer/Libra/Aqua/Pisces/Aries/Sag/Cap/Taurus/Gemini/Leo/Virgo!!!!"

My problem is because I haven't reached the point of trusting/going with those intuition, visions, etc.
It's like i still need validation/input from others.

I only like to 'see' the good in everyone and often put blinders on to anything else.
There lies the problem for me.
Asking others is a way to 'see' what I might be missing or a different thought process from my own.

Reading people is pretty damn easy. All you have to do is observe the subject, assess their behavior and actions in the given situation and then react accordingly. Most people don't bother because they're either too busy wrapped up in their own business and they don't really give a damn or they'd prefer not to try to get into another person's head. Sure with some people it's instinctual but when it comes down to it anyone can do it. All it takes is a little effort and a basic understanding of the human psyche. This is one of the main reasons why I initially disregard first impressions unless the person is making it blatantly obvious that they're just a waste of space or are of unsavory character.

By "read people" I mean that I can know/see certain things way BEFORE they told me so themselves. It means I have the ability to observe & analyze someone's every move/body language & half of the time, I can do this w/o them even realizing it.

Aquas trust their own instincts about others. We may be wrong sometimes of course.

We may not like the pace for which someone is revealing themselves to us so we'll go ahead & look for certain clues/body language/tale-tell signs that will give us quicker answers. We may watch the way a person eats, talks or converses with others; ya know we "read them"...we see straight through them. And the victory is even greater when we find out we were actually RIGHT about that person =)

We don't wait for someone to tell us that they are honest, caring, possessive or crazy. We recognize that some people reveal themselves in NON-VERBAL ways & hey, if they give us the chance to observe certain qualities, we'll jump at the chance to see/observe all that we can.

I don't wait on someone to tell me or admit they are "psycho" or "jealous." No, I can normally pick up on those kinds of traits right away, the same way a counselor or psychologist can pick up certain things on their patients.

There's no real way to explain it; we just "know." We actually take advantage of this thing called intuition/instinct; we have brains so we use it!

its an awsome trait, instead of judging a book by its cover you already know what its about. lol. i find it rude to just assume though

And imo, when you are a capriquarius, it is heightened.

Those ho can't do it, don't have it or they'd know it.

I being a capricorn know its is best to not try and read a person and base your interaction with them on that. before you interact on a level that can put you in a position that you may regret.

listen to what they say
compair there actions to what they say judge it that way
Dop not trust your judgment on early impressions.

By reading people, it means getting under their skin and being very empathic.. seeing things through their eyes. Yes Aguas can read people, but sometimes also buy into the latters' skewed perceptions.. Aqguas have problems judging and their social empathy can smoke truth about good vs evil for them this way.

I judge james tate as liking soccer mums first impression.
Then I saw he usually had spelling errors and I thought he couldn't spell
but later I regretted judging him because first impressions arent that accurate.
Plus he likes espionage novels.. ad he thinks in numbers

im getting it in with 3 Capricorn chicks...and i can def read them tho. They act, talk, and f**k the same. Smh to me, sex with a capricorn is boring. I like to do the work but i "always" have to do the work and that's when i feel if they're gonna be spiteful. But other than that, i text them once or twice a day, i hardly talk on the phone with them. Of the 2, the 3rd one talks the least but is the most boring. The only time i call them is to ask when they cominq over to get some d**k. When im not bangin deez chicks....im with my Leo joint or my Aries babyy. I will drop all three eventually. I might keep the Aries, but Leo gettin dropped too..
