my grandpa is a scorpio and my boyfriend is an aquarius. my grandpa thinks my boyfriend is too aloof, and my boyfriend thinks my grandpa is too intense. its funny to watch them interact.

I'm scorpion and my guy is aqua,it needed understanding and patient for each other to work out.so fare we are doing great.

I'm Aqua, fiance is Scorpio,its not been easy with him and maybe he says the same about me but we both Want our relationship to work. We have a hard time understanding each other though but when its Good its GREAT!

-as long as both people are on the same page within the relationship and both WANT the same thing...then it will work out, regardless of what signs you are. no relationship is easy, and they usually do take work...but, if both people are willing to put in the work, everything will be fine.

Aqua guy here who has broken friendship of 2 scorp guys, is on the borderline with a scorp female friend and with my scorp grandma although we're fine still we argue about things (and consider I'm an easy going and open aqua). From zodiac point of view I find the saying about the strong incompatibility of those two it's 100% true. So although I don't let zodiac make my total decision (personality is involved), I can always sense the same bad values on a scorp and try to avoid them...(sorry moonchild but I disagree on that 🙂 ) PS My Uranus is on Scoprio, whatever that means.

My baby daddy is a scorp (LOL) and i'm an aqua. Can't live with him can't live without him so if you are up to a love/hate relationship go ahead. I will say this though that was the most passionate and intense relationship i ever experienced. When we were good we were oh so good but when it got bad well you guess it. (smile) Also there's a 12year age gap so maybe some of our fights were due to my immaturity not being able to handle his intense possessive force i guess but I really admire him and we get along great raising our daughter. It really is a love/hate type of relationship when it comes down to Scorpios from my experiences. Yes plural.

My parents have this combo...been married since 1958!!!! Of course there's plenty to assist them beyond plain old sun signs. Remember, typically, a woman will be drawn to men who reflect her mars sign more than her sun sign. Mars, in general, rules men, and a woman's mars sign describes her physical type and therefore what attracts initially. The sun sign can also be important for overall compatibility but the sun has a broader, more general spiritual and emotional context. Having compatible suns can go a long way in adding romantic and emotional solidarity to a union but if other strong attraction features are present the sun's influence can be weaker and really not matter as much. In my parents' case, my mom an aqua female has mars in scorpio. No big shocker then that she fell for a scorpio sun male. And my father, a scorpio sun, has both his female symbols, moon and venus, in aquarius and libra, respectively. For those hopelessly committed to sun signs, there were, of course, many contests of will between mom and dad, given that aqua and scorp are both fixed signs and neither wants to give an inch in a disagreement. But their love and respect was ultimately founded on just that, their mutual understanding that each knew one's own mind and held to own's own views. In any case, the point here is that mom was "needier" than the pure average water-bearer type and dad had far more detachment from his passion than the average "on the edge" type scorpio. In short, look beyond sun signs. If you don't know how, then learn, because the knowledge is worth it in the understanding it can give your relationships. Ultimately though, people stay together out of love, not signs. Any two signs can love, so long as the over-all chemistry is there and they choose to make it work.

Another tidbit, I am a male fish engaged to an aqua female. Yes, I know, pisces and aqua are supposed to have neither strong like or dislike for one another, a kind of "huh?!" relationship. But again, my aqua lady has her mars conjunct neptune in scorpio closely trine my sun, mars, mercury conjunction in pisces. Her attraction to water sign types is therefore easily predictable. Her moon is also in pisces, conjunct my sun, creating a male/female bond of friendship, love and affection that can really assist with other more difficult aspects in the relationship. My own moon is in cappy and my gf is definitely the more saturn-ruled aquarian rather than the so-called "whips and chains, green hair and dangling hardware, I wanna be different" type of aquarian, which is often more in tune with uranus (My gf also has saturn closely conjunct the ascendant). I know I'm over-generalizing here a bit, but for clarity of point. I realize not all aquas are unusual just for the sake of being so. Their are mature people in each sign. As for aqua space and pisces clingyness, we both need space. Aquas can't easily process feelings so often retreat, grumpily, to seclusion, until they're over their grudge, anger, hurt, whatever. Water signs wanna talk, yell, cry, throw plates, slam doors, etc. Aqua is often too soft cell for water sign dramas of this sort. When things are cool though, my miss aqua needs little space other than to run her errands. Remember, aqua is fixed and therefore, like the other fixed signs, uh, possessive! I need space for much more positive reasons, lol, like hobbies, dreaming, listening to music, spacing out, etc. Miss aqua occasionally like to hang with a chick pal or go visit moms and pops. Whew! So old-fashioned!
