Me and the Aqua split up about a year ago now (I wanted kids at some point and his ex won't let him see his son so he freaked and we finished). On Friday I went to a birthday party for a friend, was planning to stay over cos it was quite far away. My Pisces didn't want to come so I went on my own. The Aqua ex was there. It's been ages since we've spoke, we had a bit of a chat, nothing much, and I went to chat to some others. Then I start getting texts asking where I was. I didn't recognise the number, and it was Aqua man. I deleted his number ages ago. I was outside and he came to see me, had a really good chat and again, I toddled off. To cut a long story short, me and him were staying over and we both slept in the living room, not together. I was pretty drunk so fell asleep straight away. In the morning we spent about 3 hours on the sofa together, not cuddling or anything, talking and laughing about old times. We left together and he went the long way to get home to walk me to get a bus. Does this mean that he wants to be friends? Or was he just being sociable? It's his birthday next week and he said he'd see me out, as another of my friends has his birthday the day before. I'd like to be friends with him, as I always enjoyed his company and I feel enough time has passed since we dated to not make it uncomfortable.
Thanks Starfish255, just that it's been so long since we've talked that it was a bit of a shock and I don't want to start talking to him again like we are friends and him blank me. I know he does blank quite a lot of his ex's.
You're right, I'll just say hi and see how things go from there. There's no feelings there anymore, we didn't date for long and it's been quite a while since we were together.
