Hmmm... I'm not so sure, I think there are a lot of things about her death that don't stack up. She was probably more popular to the British Public than the whole of the royal family put together and remained that way even after they dropped her HRH. She was I suspect a thorn in their side and I don't imagine it was beyond the realms of possibilty that MI5 / MI6 may have been involved in her death.
But then again I love a good conspiracy theory, so this might have something to do with it.
