Okay ... tell me if I'm wrong for feeling this way -- be honest.
My "alternate" manager (I'll call him Pete) (I have 2 main bosses and 5 alternate bosses)can physical see that I'm busy or that I've finished my work for the day. So instead of just letting me be until the next project comes my way ... he wants to talk!
He's the type of man that will constantly interrupt you regardless to what you are doing 😢 I try to break away, but he will find some way to interrupt.
There's also a Grounds Tech (I'll call him Roy) that I work with who does the exact same thing to me ...BUT EVEN WORSE. He will go out of his way to make sure that my attention is solely on him and only him you guys!!!
Today, my two main bosses were gone so I had to deal with that Manager Pete and Roy TOGETHER!!! So this is what I did ... I didn't even sit down for two minutes. I had more physical work to do anyway so I want on and did that while proceeding to ignore them anytime that tried to talk to me. Roy did stop me once or twice but I kept avoiding him. Manager Pete caught me after I finally decided to sit down ... and he talked with even regard that I was busy. Before I left, he continued to ask bother me so I give a hint of annoyance his way...
There's other stuff too but I don't want to type up a story on here, but this is the most current stuff.
Was I wrong to intentionally stay away from those two guys today?
Am I wrong for getting a little attitude with Manager Pete for bugging me before I had to leave?
I know that they are just trying to be social but socializing for more then two hours is alittle much for me ... especially when I'm busy. Haha, I guess one of my pet peeves is being interrupted while I'm busy ... so maybe I was alittle harsh 😢
I don't know why you're bothered so much by this..it doesn't look like a serious matter to me
Vanessa I'm bothered only because he's my boss. I don't kiss ass and I don't think I'll ever do it. But, if I'm rude to the guy, I can be moved to the back of the department and I don't want to work back there. That Grounds guy is not an issue, he just annoys the heck out me because he's extremely long-winded.
Harsh?! Oh, come on, cappy, that was SO not harsh! If you call that harsh, then how I'd be, would be considered downright BITCHY!!
LOL!!!!!! okay GL I'll take your advice 🙂
Sorry Vanessa, but I just had to vent about that issue because it was getting on my nerves 😢 The Department Secratary has the same problem with those two guys. She keeps her door shut so she doesn't have to deal with them ... they really drive her crazy like that.

I don't see where you were harsh at all. You weren't direct with them. Some chatty people need to know that you're busy. You didn't directly tell them you were busy, so them being chatty and attention grabbers continued to yack away.
If you want to be tactful yet direct, next time say "Hey guys. I'd like to sit and talk to you guys about this, but I have a very busy schedule. I'll catch up with you when I get a break." and leave it at that...if they continue to talk, you gave them your out and it's up to them to accept it. if you walk away after you say this, then they can't be upset because you were upfront with them and said it the way it was.
I have that direct, in your face attitude when it comes to being bothered. If I'm working on a project and people are socializing, I withdraw from it. And I'm also the type of person who's not afraid to call them on it (socializing instead of working) if they don't finish their projects on time or have a hard time completing it.
I'll give that a try on Monday, but my original boss should be back by then. The only reason I thought I was being harsh was because it can be taken the worng way if you frankly tell somebody that they talk too much.
I know this all seems silly but I was just probably alittle ultra sensitive today.
I'm soooo not the person to talk about stuff all day long ... I just can't run my mouth like that, I mean wow ... I just can't do it.
So I go on this date tonight. It's with a guy that has been pursuing me for about 6 months, but I've turned him down either because I've been busy or had plans whenever he'd ask me out. So i finally agree to meet him at Carrabbas, which is an Italian re
So I was leaving the grocery store tonight and like most evenings, it's pretty busy. I'm not the type of person who will drive around until I find a good parking spot. In fact, I usually park far out in the back of the parking lot. Well, I happened to
