Understanding Aquarians

Hello all,

There haven't been a lot of Aquarians in my life and I need help understanding a friend.

I've recently been hanging around casually(as friends) with an Aquarian female over the last few months. We've had fun going to concerts and doing other random things. I'm a Cancer, and because I'm paranoid about being "clingy" usually she's the one that will randomly text me and I'll respond accordingly (I don't normally instigate). Usually she'll text from either everyday to every couple of days.

We hung out last Saturday and had fun making a nice meal together. We were suppose to another concert yesterday. I didn't really hear from her all week except when I sent a brief email mid-week confirming rides. She responded saying she lost the tickets and was nervous about finding them.

Suddenly yesterday I got a text saying she had found the tickets but she just found out one of her best friends was around in a different city. She hadn't seen him all summer and this was the only weekend he'd be around. She'd pay me back and really needed a night away from things.

Is this normal Aquarian behaviour? I simply responded "Hey, no worries have a good night" and she thanked me a lot.

Are u trying to be just a friend or something more?

As for normal: Her texting style seems rather normal.

Just friends for now. I've just been interested in keeping it casual. My question regarding the behavior was not so much with regards to the texting style as it was in the randomness of the decision. Do Aquarians retreat like this some times? I've not texted her since, and I do know such a friend exists. She said she'd pay me back for the ticket.

You have to be assertive with aquas. We won't like it always, but we'll sure as hell respect you for it.
You keep this up you'll be a back-burner or every guys favorite...the friend zone lol. I'm sure
you'll eventually want to take things further, so don't get stuck. And if your truly just looking for friendship don't be a "friend" that gets used,
abused, and unappreciated.


There's nothing wrong with canceling and she was up front with you I guess for her reasons, just don't let her make it a habit to disregard the time you spend with her, because it still is your time.

Yep, I know. I realized I should have gone back and gotten the ticket, but I really dropped the ball on this one and I'm upset at myself for not doing that. Next time I speak to her I'll mention this.

just don't blow up at her or anything. u allowed for it so u only have urself to blame. lay it down straight and let her know what to expect from now on. yup. those boundaries.
