What happens if you're being aloof to an aquarius?

I was wondering if i'm screwing things up with this aquarius.
When he text to say he miss me or to say things like he can't wait to spend time with me.i would only reply with a smiley face and go on talking about other stuff.And(to make up for not being able to go party with him and his friends)i carelessly said i would hang out with him PROBABLY over the weekend or something,(i didn't take it to heart)and in the end i was kinda occupied with my other friends.so we didn't get to meet up.I don't know if it pissed him off because he gave pretty cold replies after that.i felt really bad but i didn't do or say anything because i don't know know what i should do or say. Am i being too cold towards him?

Oh and one more thing. Is it also a bad thing that i didn't show him how pissed off i was when he brought another girl along to watch movie with me and my friends and later on sent her home(when he would usually send me home)??
Then he called to say he didn't mean to ask her along bla bla and it was a nuisance to send her home and stuff?and he said he asked her along because she wanted to come and he sent her home because she kinda made him do it?

i'm not sure with the "reasons" for other aquas. Personally speaking...i'll take it as they don't want me around...and i just continue living my life. My other aqua friends and people i've got to know had similar decisions. Reasons are all different. One said its because she doesn't feel welcome. The other ones were completely oblivious to it. HENCE WHY aquas are infamous for being dingy and aloof and cold.

depends if there's a reason to that aloofness, if you're just being your usual self, then yeah I'll take that. If you're playing around instead of telling me what's the matter, I'll just go about my own life.. I hate when people do that trying to get my attention!

im an aquarius guy, he was telling u he likes u and wants to see your face and once u act nonchalant, he paused and thought "ok i said this and all i got was a smiley face?" so basically now he's just doing what you did to him.. and aquarius we sometimes have sympathy for friends etc so thats probably why the chick tagged along,, and once someone we like lets us know we did something that upset them we take that in hardd and think about it so if he says sorry he means it,, whats your sign btw?

they don't hold grudges so you're good.

I think with any1, that would be their reaction........if I say i miss u ...then all u send is a smiley face and then change the subject...that reads "Im not that into you"......naturally he is going to stop being like that because he feels rejected.

I kinda understand play it cool but jus be str8 up.

Just keep in mind that Aquas....some...not all....but its known for them to sleep with their friends ans still be cool afterwards.

He didn't apologize but he did called right after that to explain.The reason why i act nonchalant was that i couldn't promise him anything like commitments.I have a problem with commitments.I'm a cancer btw,with sags and gems mostly in my chart.

Depends!! You can get two reations.

Aqua's are aloof somewhat by nature..So usually rather he is into you or not he can be aloof.
but if you are aloof back and he really likes you he won't be able to take it. As long as they are the
ones being aloof it works. They are backwards as hell. the more space you give the less they want it
seems. I ignored my ex Aqua to toture, he could not take it, but he definetly could dish it out.

Yeah i agree with getting that i don't care attitude back. He does what i do to him.

Whoa! First off, if you & this guy are supposed to be dating, other girls should NOT be joining you on dates. That's disrespectful.

2. There's no need in him shrugging her off now. He obviously felt her important enough to join you on the date anyways. That's why he asked her. Whether or not he regretted it later is a different story. Problem is, at some point he WANTED her there.

3. Aquas have double standards when it comes to this whole "aloof" thing. WE like to be the only ones disappearing, but we can't stand for others to do it to us. We can't stand it when we can't read your mind, or when we're left guessing, or when you act cold/hot towards us b/c it sends us into "over-analyze" mode. We want others to understand us when we do this but yet when the tables are turned, yep, you'll be met with a cold shoulder & the silent treatment! I know, it's not fair--sue us =P

4. Depends on WHY you're being aloof. Aquas can easily mistake you being aloof to mean that you're playing some kind of mental mind game. And if we come to that conclusion, we'll purposely back up & play the same game, until we're finally sure of your intentions or reasonsings behind being that way.

5. If you're being aloof b/c you tick just like us Aquas, communicate that to him early on so that he won't have a choice but to understand this about you. After all, him knocking you for it would be the same as him knocking himself. And trust me, we NEVER knock ourselves when we get aloof or cold/hot.

There are double standards but if you want to be with us you just have to put up with it & if u dnt oh well we have no problem moving on,we will have are way one or another,but its not FORCED it really just comes naturally.
