Why does it seem women have to write off the aqua

I just got to thinking about this after reading alot of the posts here on the board. Why does it seem like it is all or nothing when it comes to a woman and an aqua man. It seems once you have become more than a friend to an aqua male and it does not work out you pretty much have to cut them out of your life. I suppose this might be true with other signs as well, but i am especially noticing it with the aqua males.

Not really..still really great friends with my aqua 'ex'...but I'll admit the only way I can still be friends with him is to pretend that entire 'dating' shit never happened. If he tried to bring it up, or if he tried mention possessing feelings for me, I'd probably scream at him. So it's best to just leave that alone....

i just need to patiently wait for some knight to completely capture my heart and i will forget about this one
