This is a guy thing, not an Aries thing.
Immature asshats will sit there and be all talk, no action, to get their way. I see my Sag brother do this, I've had a Cap do this, I've had a Libra do this, and I've seen many women deal with the SAME shit from any guy.
It is a GUY thing. They push and push to see what they can get away with. You showed him that you were allowing break ups to happen all the freaking time because you behave like a 14 year old girl. Only little girls allow break up and make up relationships to happen. Immature people are in relationships like that.
That said, the only reason he's NOW showing remorse is because you're standing your ground. He suddenly isn't going to get his way no matter how much sweet talking he's doing. Omg now he's panicking. Omg he can't just waltz in and get what he wants. You aren't allowing him to do his usual M.O. Now he's going to insist on trying because guys like him WILL NOT appreciate what they have until it's gone.
Stand your damned ground and move along. You are not going to get answers like "OH DEEP DOWN HE LURVES YOU AND REALLY WILL TRY HARDER THIS TIME."

Yes, I still think about the good times that we had, but I'm not one to dwell on the bad in any relationship. Regardless of our good times, they still revolved around his alcohol and it's just not worth getting back into again. The holidays are coming and I'm sure that is weighing on him. The past two years he has had me around. Being his only real girlfriend ever it was all new to him. His sister doesn't like me, so why would I even want to spend a special time that my family enjoys with miserable people like her? I swear that everything I've ever read in the past when I was trying to get answers as to why he was being like he was, and trying to understand him, said that once Aries are done that is it, you can't change it. He told me he was done for the last time. This time I didn't run back, I let him go. I didn't take him to something that we had planned together. I left without him. I have done my own thing, driving right past him without a hard or sad feeling. So, I guess what I'm trying to figure out is why is he still contacting me if when an Aries is done they are done.?
