Is Your Job Causing Frustration or Is It You

Feeling unhappy at work can stem from inadequate training, unprofessional behavior, or unmet expectations. It is important to assess if your frustration is due to external factors or your own patience levels. Recognizing your needs and communicating them clearly can help improve your job situation or guide you toward a more fulfilling career.

Ive started my new job last week and today I don't like it. I want to find a new job.
Pros
I have training in the healthcare field so I'm using my skills
Fulltime supposedly

Cons
Lack of training. I started working the same time as another employee and she knows more then me n it bothers me cause we should be on the same level. The trainee kept promising me should we train me n never did till today. There other ppl that are qualified trainees, that ain't doing shiiii...Remember, i started last week. So during the time i was waiting i was reading SOP and shadowing ppl all day, wishing i can do what their doing

Unprofessional! Cussing in front of clients

Remember i said supposely fulltime, well they sent me home early yesterday then the next day me n a few employees went home early again. If IM working i need to learn my duties, n i want all of my hours n training

Receptionist is my title, getting paid 9.50hr

Yes, I know it's a job, but damn.
Is it me or my job
Btw I'm a Aries, i can be very impatient n restless over things easily. But this time I can say, i have been trying my best to be patient.
I think it's fustrating me more because im not expressing my feelings to anyone about it. When it's really killing me inside.
I just want a job that i can be happy at.
No luck with that so far.
Owell life goes on.

Just curious. What more do you have to do aside from make/take calls and work on a computer?

When I worked as a receptionist there was a lot to learn, yes, but for the most part it was just common sense.

However I had a mentor for a time so I understand the need for some guidance. Why did they hire you if you weren't knowledgeable about your title?

Yes i have whole bunch to do. I know that doesn't answer your question in details but my frustration is more about me having more training available for me. Especially if their are other employees qualified to do so.
N i have to have extensive training in order to be certified in my position

I'm aware of my job title and duties, just wasn't aware of environment

Today is better!
My Patience weighs really slim to nothing.
Something i have to wOrk on,

First off, they're "trainers" dear. YOU are the "trainee." Your spelling is also atrocious, so I hope you don't end up writing emails or letters.

And an Aries shouldn't be working a receptionist job. That shit is boring and far too sedentary for an active sign like this.

Wait it out though. I started a job back in April and the first month or so was kinda wobbly for me in the sense that I wasn't sure where I stood or felt that I would have some problems based on a few instances I'd come across.

I'm fine now, have settled in and am feeling more confidence in everything. I think when it comes to being new it's just a whole hell of a lot to cope with along with being a new person.

All you can do is ask questions and be patient while you learn.

Give it a little while longer. New jobs can not be determined in a week. Also make sure if you move on it's to another job and not unemployment.

Well shit, when people write like morons, it's hard not to perceive them to be morons.

Not to say that the OP is a moron per se, but it's the impression that's given off when one writes so shitty.
