Don't be hard on him if he smokes weed to ease cravings for coke. Or better yet, he can smoke Spice or K2 (the new and legal versions, call them generation 2) if he wants to go the legal route and not be associated with whatever scumbags he was formerly associated with. You can get Spice, K2, or whatever it's branded as in your area at a gas station, novelty shop, or head shop most likely. In fact, smoking Spice made it rather easy for me to kick nicotine since it eliminated the cravings and wasn't addictive in and of itself.
