a couple years ago he suffered a closed head injury and can't communicate properly. He has a hard time saying what he's thinking and his mental health isnt what it used to be. And he knows all of this. He's very much aware of all of this.
BUT... I know no other man who is as well equipped to deal with it. He's the most cheerful, the most good humored about his senility, always smiling, self-depricating in an entertaining way, and he wont ever give up.
i love my grandfather to bits! and i'm glad he's a man that's always determined to speak up no matter how funny and nutty he sounds. lol
